在耶路撒冷，献殿节到了，那时是冬天。

所罗门王和那些聚集到他那里的以色列全体会众，都在约柜前献上牛羊为祭，数量无法计算，不能数点。

第二天，他们向耶和华献祭，他们向耶和华献上燔祭；那一天他们献了公牛一千头、公绵羊一千只、羊羔一千只，以及同献的奠祭，又为以色列众人献了许多祭。

以色列祭司和利未人，以及其余被掳归回的人都欢欢喜喜举行奉献这神殿的典礼。在奉献这神殿的典礼中，他们献上公牛一百头、公绵羊二百只、绵羊羔四百只；又照着以色列支派的数目献上公山羊十二只，作全以色列的赎罪祭。

王和所有与他在一起的以色列人都在耶和华面前献祭。所罗门向耶和华献平安祭，牛二万二千头，羊十二万只；这样，王和以色列众人为耶和华的殿举行了奉献典礼。

所罗门上到耶和华会幕前面的铜祭坛旁边，在坛上献上了一千只燔祭牲。

耶和华喜悦千千的公羊，或是万万的油河吗？为我的过犯，我可以献上我的长子吗？为我的罪恶，献上我亲生的孩子吗？

用膏抹祭坛的日子，众领袖都献上奉献祭坛的礼物；众领袖把自己的供物献在祭坛前。

那一天，他们从夺回来的战利品当中，把七百头牛，七千只羊，献给耶和华为祭，

于是约西亚送出绵羊羔和山羊羔共三万只，还有公牛三千头，给所有在场的人民作逾越节的祭牲；这些都是取自王的财产。约西亚手下的众领袖也自愿把祭牲送给人民、祭司和利未人；又有神殿的总管希勒家、撒迦利亚和耶歇，也把羔羊二千六百只和公牛三百头，送给祭司作逾越节的祭牲。利未人的领袖歌楠雅和他的两个兄弟示玛雅和拿坦业，以及哈沙比雅、耶利和约撒拔，也把羊羔五千只和公牛五百头，送给利未人作逾越节的祭牲。

犹大王希西家送给会众公牛一千头，羊七千只；众领袖也送给会众公牛一千头，羊一万只；并且有很多祭司自洁。
