耶和华像在基遍一样再次向他显现，

你们的上帝耶和华要在你们众支派中选一个地方作祂的居所，你们要去那里敬拜祂，把你们的燔祭及其他祭物、十一奉献、举祭、还愿祭、自愿献的祭和头生的牛羊带到那里。

当天晚上，上帝向所罗门显现，问他：“你要我给你什么？只管求吧。”

你们要把我吩咐你们献的燔祭、各种牲祭、十一奉献、举祭和一切还愿祭带到你们的上帝耶和华选定的敬拜场所。

我们若按着上帝的旨意祈求，祂必垂听，这是我们对上帝的信心。我们既然知道上帝垂听我们一切的祈求，就知道我们能得到所求的。

然而，上帝听了我的祷告，倾听了我的祈求。

说，‘哥尼流，上帝已经垂听了你的祷告，也悦纳你周济穷人的善行。

天使对他说：“撒迦利亚，不要害怕，你的祷告已蒙垂听。你的妻子伊丽莎白要为你生一个儿子，你要给他取名叫约翰。

祂拣选了犹大支派，祂所喜爱的锡安山。祂为自己建造高耸的圣所，使它像大地一样长存。

亚伯兰九十九岁那年，耶和华向他显现说：“我是全能的上帝。你要遵行我的旨意，做纯全无过的人。

耶和华啊，你知道困苦人的愿望，你必垂听他们的呼求，安慰他们。

我已选择这殿，使之圣洁，永远归在我的名下，我的眼和我的心必常在那里。

因为耶和华已经拣选了锡安，愿意将锡安作为祂的居所。祂说：“这是我永远的居所；我要住在这里，因为我喜爱这地方。

以利亚对以利沙说：“你留在这里吧，耶和华差遣我去约旦河。”以利沙说：“我凭永活的耶和华和你的性命起誓，我决不离开你。”于是二人继续前行。

“回去告诉我子民的首领希西迦，‘你祖先大卫的上帝耶和华说，我已听见你的祷告，看见了你的眼泪。我要医治你，三天后你就可以上耶和华的殿。
