所羅門建耶和華室、及王宮室告成、於耶和華室、及己宮室、凡其心所欲作者、盡皆順遂、而竣厥工、

於是耶和華殿、與王宮室、凡所羅門所欲建者、至是告成。

如是所羅門建成主殿及王宮、凡所羅門意中所欲作於主殿及己宮者、皆亨通而工無不竣、

When Solomon had finished the temple of the Lord and the royal palace, and had succeeded in carrying out all he had in mind to do in the temple of the Lord and in his own palace,

Solomon finished the Lord’ s temple and the royal palace. He had done everything he had planned to do in the Lord’ s temple and his own palace.

Thus Solomon finished the house of the Lord and the king’s house. All that Solomon had planned to do in the house of the Lord and in his own house he successfully accomplished.

So Solomon finished the Temple of the Lord, as well as the royal palace. He completed everything he had planned to do in the construction of the Temple and the palace.

So Solomon finished the LORD’s temple and the royal palace. Everything that had entered Solomon’s heart to do for the LORD’s temple and for his own palace succeeded.

So Solomon finished the house of the Lord and the king’s palace, and successfully completed everything that he had planned on doing in the house of the Lord and in his palace.

Thus Solomon finished the house of the Lord and the king’s house; and Solomon successfully accomplished all that came into his heart to make in the house of the Lord and in his own house.

Thus Solomon finished the house of Jehovah, and the king’s house: and all that came into Solomon’s heart to make in the house of Jehovah, and in his own house, he prosperously effected.

So Solomon finished the Lord’s temple and the royal palace. Everything that had entered Solomon’s heart to do for the Lord’s temple and for his own palace succeeded.

Thus Solomon finished the house of the LORD, and the king’s house: and all that came into Solomon’s heart to make in the house of the LORD, and in his own house, he prosperously effected.

所罗门建完耶和华的殿、自己的王宫和所有要建的建筑后，耶和华像在基遍一样再次向他显现，对他说：“我听了你的祷告和祈求。我已使你建的殿成为圣洁之地，让我的名永在其中，我会一直眷顾这殿。如果你像你父亲大卫一样存诚实正直的心事奉我，遵行我的一切吩咐，谨守我的律例和典章，我必使你的王位在以色列永远稳固，正如我曾向你父亲大卫应许要使他的王朝永不中断。“然而，如果你们及你们的子孙离弃我，不守我的诫命和律例，去供奉、祭拜别的神明，我必把以色列人从我赐给他们的土地上铲除，并离弃我为自己的名而使之圣洁的这殿，使以色列人在万民中成为笑柄，被人嘲讽。这殿虽然宏伟，但将来经过的人必惊讶，讥笑说，‘耶和华为什么这样对待这地方和这殿呢？’人们会回答，‘因为他们背弃曾领他们祖先离开埃及的耶和华——他们的上帝，去追随、祭拜、供奉别的神明，所以耶和华把这一切灾祸降在他们身上。’”

所罗门决定为耶和华的名建造殿宇，也为自己兴建王宫。

凡我眼睛爱看的、心里渴慕的，我都随心所欲，尽情享受。我的心从劳碌中得到欢乐，这是我劳碌所得的回报。然而，当我回顾双手辛勤经营的一切成就时，唉，却发现都是虚空，都是捕风；日光之下的一切都毫无益处。
