這樣，所羅門完成了耶和華的殿宇和王宮。在耶和華的殿裡或所羅門的宮中，所羅門心裡要作的，都順利地作成了。

所罗门造成了耶和华殿和王宫；在耶和华殿和王宫凡他心中所要做的，都顺顺利利地做成了。

所罗门建完了耶和华的殿和王宫；在耶和华的殿和王宫的工程上，凡他心中所要做的，都顺利做成了。

所羅門建完了耶和華的殿和王宮；在耶和華的殿和王宮的工程上，凡他心中所要做的，都順利做成了。

所羅門建耶和華室、及王宮室告成、於耶和華室、及己宮室、凡其心所欲作者、盡皆順遂、而竣厥工、

於是耶和華殿、與王宮室、凡所羅門所欲建者、至是告成。

如是所羅門建成主殿及王宮、凡所羅門意中所欲作於主殿及己宮者、皆亨通而工無不竣、

When Solomon had finished the temple of the Lord and the royal palace, and had succeeded in carrying out all he had in mind to do in the temple of the Lord and in his own palace,

Solomon finished the Lord’ s temple and the royal palace. He had done everything he had planned to do in the Lord’ s temple and his own palace.

Thus Solomon finished the house of the Lord and the king’s house. All that Solomon had planned to do in the house of the Lord and in his own house he successfully accomplished.

So Solomon finished the Temple of the Lord, as well as the royal palace. He completed everything he had planned to do in the construction of the Temple and the palace.

So Solomon finished the LORD’s temple and the royal palace. Everything that had entered Solomon’s heart to do for the LORD’s temple and for his own palace succeeded.

So Solomon finished the house of the Lord and the king’s palace, and successfully completed everything that he had planned on doing in the house of the Lord and in his palace.

Thus Solomon finished the house of the Lord and the king’s house; and Solomon successfully accomplished all that came into his heart to make in the house of the Lord and in his own house.

Thus Solomon finished the house of Jehovah, and the king’s house: and all that came into Solomon’s heart to make in the house of Jehovah, and in his own house, he prosperously effected.

So Solomon finished the Lord’s temple and the royal palace. Everything that had entered Solomon’s heart to do for the Lord’s temple and for his own palace succeeded.

Thus Solomon finished the house of the LORD, and the king’s house: and all that came into Solomon’s heart to make in the house of the LORD, and in his own house, he prosperously effected.

After Solomon finished building the LORD’s temple and the royal palace, and accomplished all his plans for the LORD’s temple and his royal palace,

Thus Solomon finished Yahweh’s house and the king’s house; and he successfully completed all that came into Solomon’s heart to make in Yahweh’s house and in his own house.

所羅門建造完了耶和華的殿、王宮和所羅門渴想建造的一切以後，耶和華就第二次向所羅門顯現，像先前在基遍向他顯現一樣。耶和華對他說：“你在我面前所作的禱告和懇求，我都已經聽見了。你建造的這殿，我已經把它分別為聖，要使我的名永遠留在那裡；我的眼和我的心也必常在那裡。至於你，如果你像你父親大衛那樣，存誠實和正直的心在我面前行事為人，遵行我一切所吩咐你的，謹守我的律例和典章，我就必堅固你統治以色列的國位，直到永遠，正如我應許你父親大衛說：‘你的子孫，總不斷有人坐以色列的王位。你們或是你們的子孫，若是轉去不跟從我，不遵守我賜給你們的誡命和律例，去事奉別的神，敬拜他們，我就必把以色列人從我賜給他們的這地上剪除，甚至為自己的名分別為聖的這殿，我也必從我面前把它丟棄不顧，使以色列人在萬族中成為笑談和譏笑的對象。這殿必成為廢墟（按照《馬索拉文本》，“成為廢墟”應作“甚高”；現參照《敘利亞譯本》翻譯），經過的人都必驚訝，取笑說：耶和華為甚麼向這地和這殿這樣作啊？人要回答說：是因為他們離棄了那把他們的列祖從埃及地領出來的耶和華他們的神，去親近別的神，敬拜他們，事奉他們，因此耶和華使這一切災禍臨到他們。’”

所羅門決意要為耶和華的名建造殿宇，又為自己建造王宮。（本節在《馬索拉文本》為1:18）

我眼中所求的，我都不禁止；我心所喜歡的，我都沒抑制。我的心因我的一切勞碌而快樂，這就是我從一切勞碌中所得的分。然後，我省察我手所作的一切，和我勞碌所成就的，想不到一切都是虛空，都是捕風，在日光之下毫無益處。
