『人若得罪了鄰舍，有人叫他用一種咒語來起誓，他來到這殿，在你祭壇前起誓；

“人若得罪邻舍，有人强迫他，要他起誓，他来到这殿，在你的坛前起誓，

“如果有人得罪邻舍，被叫到这殿中，在你的坛前起誓，

“人若是得罪了邻舍，有人要他起誓，他就来到这殿，在你的祭坛前起誓；

「人若得罪鄰舍，有人叫他起誓，他來到這殿，在你的壇前起誓，

「人若得罪鄰舍，有人強迫他，要他起誓，他來到這殿，在你的壇前起誓，

「人若得罪鄰舍，有人強迫他，要他起誓，他來到這殿，在你的壇前起誓，

「如果有人得罪鄰舍，被叫到這殿中，在你的壇前起誓，

“人若是得罪了鄰舍，有人要他起誓，他就來到這殿，在你的祭壇前起誓；

人若獲罪於鄰、令其發誓、則至此室、在爾壇前發誓、

如人與同儕有所干犯、至此殿、發誓於壇前、

人若獲罪於人、有人使其在此殿主之祭臺前發誓、

“ When anyone wrongs their neighbor and is required to take an oath and they come and swear the oath before your altar in this temple,

二人之間就必須憑着永恆主來起誓自己有沒有下手拿鄰舍的物件，物主就必須接受那起誓，看守的人不必賠償。

祭司要叫那婦人起誓，對她說：「若沒有人和你同寢，你做丈夫妻子時、若沒有邪行而被玷污，這能招致咒詛的苦水、就與你無干。但你做丈夫妻子時若有邪行、若被玷污；在你丈夫以外、若有人和你同寢」，（這時祭司就叫那婦人用咒詛的話來起誓；祭司又對那婦人說）：「永恆主叫你的大腿消瘦、你的肚子發脹時，願永恆主叫你在你的族人中成了受咒詛和起誓的話柄；這招致咒詛的水進你腹中、就會叫你的肚子發脹，大腿消瘦。」那婦人要說：「誠心所願誠心所願。」

『倘若有人犯罪、聽見誓囑或是誓求的聲音，雖能做見證——無論是看見甚麼、或是知道甚麼——卻不說出來，他就要擔當他的罪罰。

你們又說：「凡指着壇起誓的，那算不了甚麼；惟獨指着壇上的禮物起誓的，就必須負責任。」

恐怕我飽足了、就否認你，說：『永恆主是誰？』又恐怕我窮乏了、就偷竊，以致冒瀆了我的上帝的名。

『人若得罪他的鄰舍，有人叫他用一種咒語來起誓，他來到這殿，在你的祭壇前起誓；求你在天上垂聽，有所施行，判斷你的僕人，定惡人有罪，照他所行的還報在他頭上；定無罪的人有理，照他的理直賞報他。
