所羅門集以色列諸長老、諸支派牧伯、及以色列諸族長、皆至耶路撒冷、欲自大衛之城、即郇城、舁主之約匱而上、

Then Solomon summoned to Jerusalem the elders of Israel, all the heads of the tribes and the chiefs of the Israelite families, to bring up the ark of the Lord’s covenant from Zion, the City of David.

Then Solomon sent for the elders of Israel. He told them to come to Jerusalem. They included all the leaders of the tribes. They also included the chiefs of the families of Israel. Solomon wanted them to bring up the ark of the Lord’ s covenant from Zion. Zion was the City of David.

Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the leaders of the fathers’ houses of the people of Israel, in Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord out of the city of David, which is Zion.

Solomon then summoned to Jerusalem the elders of Israel and all the heads of tribes— the leaders of the ancestral families of Israel. They were to bring the Ark of the Lord’s Covenant to the Temple from its location in the City of David, also known as Zion.

At that time Solomon assembled at Jerusalem the elders of Israel— all the tribal heads, the ancestral chiefs of the Israelites— in order to bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD up from the city of David, that is, Zion.

Then Solomon assembled at Jerusalem the elders of Israel, all the heads of the tribes, and the leaders of the fathers’ households of the sons of Israel, to bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord up from the city of David, which is Zion.

Now Solomon assembled the elders of Israel and all the heads of the tribes, the chief fathers of the children of Israel, in Jerusalem, that they might bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord up from the City of David, which is Zion.

Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the princes of the fathers’ houses of the children of Israel, unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of Jehovah out of the city of David, which is Zion.

At that time Solomon assembled at Jerusalem the elders of Israel— all the tribal heads, the ancestral chiefs of the Israelites— in order to bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord up from the city of David, that is, Zion.

Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which[ is] Zion.

Then Solomon convened Israel’s elders– all the leaders of the Israelite tribes and families– in Jerusalem, so they could witness the transferal of the ark of the covenant of the LORD from the City of David( that is, Zion).

Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the princes of the fathers’ households of the children of Israel, to Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of Yahweh’s covenant out of David’s city, which is Zion.

有人告訴大衛王說：「耶和華因約櫃的緣故賜福給俄別‧以東的家和一切屬他的。」大衛就去，歡歡喜喜地將上帝的約櫃從俄別‧以東家中接上來，到大衛城裏。

只是上帝的約櫃，大衛已經從基列‧耶琳接到他所預備的地方，因他曾在耶路撒冷為約櫃支搭了帳幕，

這示羅密和他的兄弟管理一切庫房的聖物，就是大衛王和眾族長、千夫長、百夫長，以及軍官所分別為聖之物。

以色列人離開耶和華的山，往前行了三天的路程。耶和華的約櫃在前面行了三天的路程，為他們尋找安歇的地方。

眾人將上帝的約櫃請進去，安放在大衛為它搭的帳幕中，就在上帝面前獻燔祭和平安祭。

於是，大衛和以色列的長老，以及千夫長都去，歡歡喜喜地將耶和華的約櫃從俄別‧以東家中接上來。

因為耶和華揀選了錫安，願意當作自己的居所：「這是我永遠安歇之所；我要住在這地方，因為我願意在這裏。我要賜福使糧食豐足，使其中的貧窮人飽享食物。我要使祭司披上救恩，聖民就要大聲歡呼！在那裏我要使大衛的角茁壯，為我的受膏者預備明燈。

所有歌唱的利未人，亞薩、希幔、耶杜頓，和他們的眾兒子、眾弟兄都穿細麻布衣服，站在祭壇的東邊敲鈸，鼓瑟，彈琴，和他們一起的還有一百二十個吹號的祭司。

他們在大衛王和撒督，以及亞希米勒與祭司和利未人的族長面前也抽籤，正如他們弟兄亞倫的子孫一樣。各族的族長與最年輕的兄弟都一樣。

然而大衛攻取了錫安的堡壘，就是大衛的城。

約櫃停住的時候，他說：「以色列千萬人的耶和華啊，求你回來！」

所羅門王做完了耶和華殿一切的工，就把他父親大衛分別為聖的金銀和一切器皿都帶來，放在上帝殿的庫房裏。

大衛召集以色列所有的領袖，各支派的領袖、輪班服事王的官長、千夫長、百夫長、掌管王和王子一切產業牲畜的、宮廷官員、勇士，和所有大能的勇士，都到耶路撒冷來。

「我已經在錫安－我的聖山膏立了我的君王。」

耶和華愛錫安的門，勝於愛雅各一切的住處。

對他們說：「你們是利未人的族長，你們和你們的弟兄應當使自己分別為聖，好將耶和華－以色列上帝的約櫃接到我所預備的地方。

那時，所羅門召集以色列的長老、各支派的領袖和以色列人的族長到耶路撒冷，所羅門王那裏，要把耶和華的約櫃從大衛城，就是錫安，接上來。以他念月，就是七月，在節期時，所有的以色列人都聚集到所羅門王那裏。以色列眾長老一來到，祭司就抬起約櫃。祭司和利未人將耶和華的約櫃請上來，又把會幕和會幕一切的聖器皿都帶上來。所羅門王和聚集到他那裏的以色列全會眾一同在約櫃前獻牛羊為祭，多得不可勝數，無法計算。祭司將耶和華的約櫃請進內殿，就是至聖所，安置在兩個基路伯的翅膀底下約櫃的地方。基路伯張開翅膀在約櫃上面的地方，從上面遮住約櫃和抬櫃的槓。這槓很長，從內殿前的聖所可以看見槓頭，從外面卻看不見。這槓直到今日還在那裏。約櫃裏沒有別的，只有兩塊石版，就是以色列人出埃及地，耶和華與他們立約的時候，摩西在何烈山放在那裏的。祭司從聖所出來的時候，有雲充滿耶和華的殿，祭司因雲彩的緣故不能站立供職，因為耶和華的榮光充滿了耶和華的殿。

作書記的利未人拿坦業的兒子示瑪雅在王和領袖，與撒督祭司、亞比亞他的兒子亞希米勒，以及祭司和利未人的族長面前記錄他們的名字；在以利亞撒的子孫中取一族，在以他瑪的子孫中也取一族。
