With antiphonal response they sang, praising and glorifying the LORD:“ For he is good; his loyal love toward Israel is forever.” All the people gave a loud shout as they praised the LORD when the temple of the LORD was established.

When all the Israelites saw the fire come down and the LORD’s splendor over the temple, they got on their knees with their faces downward toward the pavement. They worshiped and gave thanks to the LORD, saying,“ Certainly he is good; certainly his loyal love endures!”

Once again there will be sounds of joy and gladness and the glad celebrations of brides and grooms. Once again people will bring their thank offerings to the temple of the LORD and will say,“ Give thanks to the LORD who rules over all. For the LORD is good and his unfailing love lasts forever.” For I, the LORD, affirm that I will restore the land to what it was in days of old.’

He met with the people and appointed musicians to play before the LORD and praise his majestic splendor. As they marched ahead of the warriors they said:“ Give thanks to the LORD, for his loyal love endures.”

For the LORD is good. His loyal love endures, and he is faithful through all generations.

and when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty- four elders threw themselves to the ground before the Lamb. Each of them had a harp and golden bowls full of incense( which are the prayers of the saints).They were singing a new song:“ You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals because you were killed, and at the cost of your own blood you have purchased for God persons from every tribe, language, people, and nation.You have appointed them as a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.”Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels in a circle around the throne, as well as the living creatures and the elders. Their number was ten thousand times ten thousand– thousands times thousands–all of whom were singing in a loud voice:“ Worthy is the lamb who was killed to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and praise!”Then I heard every creature– in heaven, on earth, under the earth, in the sea, and all that is in them– singing:“ To the one seated on the throne and to the Lamb be praise, honor, glory, and ruling power forever and ever!”And the four living creatures were saying“ Amen,” and the elders threw themselves to the ground and worshiped.

Singers walk in front; musicians follow playing their stringed instruments, in the midst of young women playing tambourines.In your large assemblies praise God, the LORD, in the assemblies of Israel!

Come! Let’s sing for joy to the LORD! Let’s shout out praises to our protector who delivers us!Let’s enter his presence with thanksgiving! Let’s shout out to him in celebration!

Shout out praises to the LORD, all the earth!Worship the LORD with joy! Enter his presence with joyful singing!

Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.Moses was not able to enter the tent of meeting because the cloud settled on it and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.

The group of those who believed were of one heart and mind, and no one said that any of his possessions was his own, but everything was held in common.

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good and his loyal love endures.Say this prayer:“ Deliver us, O God who delivers us! Gather us! Rescue us from the nations! Then we will give thanks to your holy name, and boast about your praiseworthy deeds.”May the LORD God of Israel be praised, in the future and forevermore. Then all the people said,“ We agree! Praise the LORD!”David left Asaph and his colleagues there before the ark of the LORD’s covenant to serve before the ark regularly and fulfill each day’s requirements,including Obed-Edom and sixty-eight colleagues. Obed-Edom son of Jeduthun and Hosah were gatekeepers.Zadok the priest and his fellow priests served before the LORD’s tabernacle at the worship center in Gibeon,regularly offering burnt sacrifices to the LORD on the altar for burnt sacrifice, morning and evening, according to what is prescribed in the law of the LORD which he charged Israel to observe.Joining them were Heman, Jeduthun, and the rest of those chosen and designated by name to give thanks to the LORD.( For his loyal love endures!)Heman and Jeduthun were in charge of the music, including the trumpets, cymbals, and the other musical instruments used in praising God. The sons of Jeduthun guarded the entrance.

Listen, your watchmen shout; in unison they shout for joy, for they see with their very own eyes the LORD’s return to Zion.

I will give them a single-minded purpose to live in a way that always shows respect for me. They will want to do that for their own good and the good of the children who descend from them.

so that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Once the priests left the holy place, a cloud filled the LORD’s temple.The priests could not carry out their duties because of the cloud; the LORD’s glory filled his temple.Then Solomon said,“ The LORD has said that he lives in thick darkness.
