And said unto the Levites that taught all Israel, which were holy unto the LORD, Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David king of Israel did build;[ it shall] not[ be] a burden upon[ your] shoulders: serve now the LORD your God, and his people Israel,

他又对那些教导以色列众人，分别为圣归耶和华的利未人说：“你们要把圣约柜安放在以色列王大卫的儿子所罗门建造的殿里；不必再用肩膀扛抬。现在你们要服事耶和华你们的神，服事他的子民以色列。

又對那歸耶和華為聖、教訓以色列人的利未人說：「你們將聖約櫃安放在以色列王大衛兒子所羅門建造的殿裏，不必再用肩扛擡。現在要事奉耶和華－你們的神，服事他的民以色列。

他又對那些歸永恆主為聖的、指導以色列眾人的利未人說：『你們要將聖櫃安放在以色列王大衛的兒子所羅門所建造的殿裏；不必再用肩膀去扛。現在你們要事奉永恆主你們的上帝，服事他的人民以色列。

諭誨以色列眾之利未人、即區別為聖歸於耶和華者、曰、當以聖匱、置於以色列王、大衛子所羅門所建之室、不復肩負、宜奉事爾之上帝耶和華、服事其民以色列、

利未人潔己、奉事耶和華、以其道訓迪以色列人、約西亞告之曰、以色列王大闢子所羅門所建之殿、當置聖匱於中、毋庸肩負、役事爾之上帝耶和華、輔翼以色列民、

教誨以色列人之利未人、潔己潔己或作區別為聖以奉事主者、王諭之曰、以色列王大衛子所羅門所建之殿、爾曹將聖匱置於其中、不復以肩舁之、今當專奉事主爾之天主、服事其民以色列、

He said to the Levites, who instructed all Israel and who had been consecrated to the Lord:“ Put the sacred ark in the temple that Solomon son of David king of Israel built. It is not to be carried about on your shoulders. Now serve the Lord your God and his people Israel.

The Levites taught all the people of Israel. The Levites had been set apart to the Lord. Josiah said to them,“ Put the sacred ark of the covenant in the temple Solomon built. He was the son of David and king of Israel. The ark must not be carried around on your shoulders. Serve the Lord your God. Serve his people Israel.

And he said to the Levites who taught all Israel and who were holy to the Lord,“ Put the holy ark in the house that Solomon the son of David, king of Israel, built. You need not carry it on your shoulders. Now serve the Lord your God and his people Israel.

He issued this order to the Levites, who were to teach all Israel and who had been set apart to serve the Lord:“ Put the holy Ark in the Temple that was built by Solomon son of David, the king of Israel. You no longer need to carry it back and forth on your shoulders. Now spend your time serving the Lord your God and his people Israel.

He said to the Levites who taught all Israel the holy things of the LORD,“ Put the holy ark in the temple built by Solomon son of David king of Israel. Since you do not have to carry it on your shoulders, now serve the LORD your God and his people Israel.

He also said to the Levites who taught all Israel and who were holy to the Lord,“ Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David king of Israel built; it will not be a burden on your shoulders. Now serve the Lord your God and His people Israel.

Then he said to the Levites who taught all Israel, who were holy to the Lord:“ Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David, king of Israel, built. It shall no longer be a burden on your shoulders. Now serve the Lord your God and His people Israel.

And he said unto the Levites that taught all Israel, that were holy unto Jehovah, Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David king of Israel did build; there shall no more be a burden upon your shoulders. Now serve Jehovah your God, and his people Israel;

He said to the Levites who taught all Israel the holy things of the Lord,“ Put the holy ark in the temple built by Solomon son of David king of Israel. Since you do not have to carry it on your shoulders, now serve Yahweh your God and His people Israel.

He told the Levites, who instructed all Israel about things consecrated to the LORD,“ Place the holy ark in the temple which King Solomon son of David of Israel built. Don’t carry it on your shoulders. Now serve the LORD your God and his people Israel!

He said to the Levites who taught all Israel, who were holy to Yahweh,“ Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David king of Israel built. It will no longer be a burden on your shoulders. Now serve Yahweh your God, and his people Israel.

And Hezekiah spake comfortably unto all the Levites that taught the good knowledge of the LORD: and they did eat throughout the feast seven days, offering peace offerings, and making confession to the LORD God of their fathers.

And with them[ he sent] Levites,[ even] Shemaiah, and Nethaniah, and Zebadiah, and Asahel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehonathan, and Adonijah, and Tobijah, and Tobadonijah, Levites; and with them Elishama and Jehoram, priests.And they taught in Judah, and[ had] the book of the law of the LORD with them, and went about throughout all the cities of Judah, and taught the people.

They shall teach Jacob thy judgments, and Israel thy law: they shall put incense before thee, and whole burnt sacrifice upon thine altar.

And also unto the Levites; they shall no[ more] carry the tabernacle, nor any vessels of it for the service thereof.

For the priest’s lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he[ is] the messenger of the LORD of hosts.

[ Seemeth it but] a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the LORD, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them?And he hath brought thee near[ to him], and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee: and seek ye the priesthood also?

And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD unto his place, to the oracle of the house, into the most holy[ place, even] under the wings of the cherubims:

For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.

And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear[ it]: but they shall not touch[ any] holy thing, lest they die. These[ things are] the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.And to the office of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest[ pertaineth] the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily meat offering, and the anointing oil,[ and] the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein[ is], in the sanctuary, and in the vessels thereof.And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,Cut ye not off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites:But thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden:But they shall not go in to see when the holy things are covered, lest they die.And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,Take also the sum of the sons of Gershon, throughout the houses of their fathers, by their families;From thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shalt thou number them; all that enter in to perform the service, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.This[ is] the service of the families of the Gershonites, to serve, and for burdens:And they shall bear the curtains of the tabernacle, and the tabernacle of the congregation, his covering, and the covering of the badgers’ skins that[ is] above upon it, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,And the hangings of the court, and the hanging for the door of the gate of the court, which[ is] by the tabernacle and by the altar round about, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and all that is made for them: so shall they serve.At the appointment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burdens, and in all their service: and ye shall appoint unto them in charge all their burdens.This[ is] the service of the families of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation: and their charge[ shall be] under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.As for the sons of Merari, thou shalt number them after their families, by the house of their fathers;From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old shalt thou number them, every one that entereth into the service, to do the work of the tabernacle of the congregation.And this[ is] the charge of their burden, according to all their service in the tabernacle of the congregation; the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and sockets thereof,And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service: and by name ye shall reckon the instruments of the charge of their burden.This[ is] the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service, in the tabernacle of the congregation, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.And Moses and Aaron and the chief of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites after their families, and after the house of their fathers,From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation:And those that were numbered of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred and fifty.These[ were] they that were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, which Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.And those that were numbered of the sons of Gershon, throughout their families, and by the house of their fathers,From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation,Even those that were numbered of them, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers, were two thousand and six hundred and thirty.These[ are] they that were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, of all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, whom Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD.And those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers,From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation,Even those that were numbered of them after their families, were three thousand and two hundred.These[ be] those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.All those that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the chief of Israel numbered, after their families, and after the house of their fathers,From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that came to do the service of the ministry, and the service of the burden in the tabernacle of the congregation,Even those that were numbered of them, were eight thousand and five hundred and fourscore.According to the commandment of the LORD they were numbered by the hand of Moses, every one according to his service, and according to his burden: thus were they numbered of him, as the LORD commanded Moses.

And when they brought out the money that was brought into the house of the LORD, Hilkiah the priest found a book of the law of the LORD[ given] by Moses.

And Solomon brought up the daughter of Pharaoh out of the city of David unto the house that he had built for her: for he said, My wife shall not dwell in the house of David king of Israel, because[ the places are] holy, whereunto the ark of the LORD hath come.

And I have given the Levites[ as] a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary.

Also Jeshua, and Bani, and Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodijah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, caused the people to understand the law: and the people[ stood] in their place.So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused[ them] to understand the reading.
