以色列王說：「將米該雅帶回，交給邑宰亞們和王的兒子約阿施，說：

打發人去，將耶利米從護衛兵院中提出來，交與沙番的孫子亞希甘的兒子基大利，帶回家去。於是耶利米住在民中。

然而，沙番的兒子亞希甘保護耶利米，不交在百姓的手中治死他。
