因斯民違棄我、焚香於他神、他神或作異邦之神以其所為、干犯我怒、故我盛怒傾洩於此處、如烈火不熄、

蓋彼眾棄我、焚香於他神、以其手所為、激我之怒、故我洩忿於此而不止、

因猶大族棄我、焚香奉事他上帝、所為干我震怒、故我降災、靡有已時。

Because they have forsaken me and burned incense to other gods and aroused my anger by all that their hands have made, my anger will be poured out on this place and will not be quenched.’

That’s because the people have deserted me. They have burned incense to other gods. They have made me very angry because of everything their hands have made. So my anger will burn like a fire against this place. And the fire of my anger will not be put out.’ ” ’

Because they have forsaken me and have made offerings to other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands, therefore my wrath will be poured out on this place and will not be quenched.

For my people have abandoned me and offered sacrifices to pagan gods, and I am very angry with them for everything they have done. My anger will be poured out on this place, and it will not be quenched.’

故主天主如是云、我必向此處與此處之人民牲畜、田之一切樹木、及地土所產、傾洩我怒我忿、焚如烈火、永不熄滅、○

猶大人、耶路撒冷居民歟、當於主前斷慾潔心、若受割禮、恐因爾所行之惡、我盛怒發如烈火、炎炎焚燒、無人能滅、

倘爾一手使爾陷於罪、則斷之、爾殘缺入於生、勝如兩手而入於磯很拿不滅之火、在彼、蟲不死、火不滅、倘爾一足使爾陷於罪、則斷之、爾跛足入於生、勝如有兩足而投於磯很拿不滅之火、在彼、蟲不死、火不滅、倘爾一目使爾陷於罪、則抉之、爾一目入天主國、勝如有兩目而投於磯很拿、在彼、蟲不死、火不滅、

張弓若仇人、挺右臂若敵、凡可悅目者、盡行殺戮、向郇邑邑原文作女之幕、震怒甚烈、如火炎炎、

復建父希西家所毀之邱壇、為巴力設祭壇、作亞舍拉、崇拜奉事天象、在主之殿宇建祭壇、昔主云、我名必永在耶路撒冷、所言即指此殿、在主殿之二院、為天象建祭壇、在便欣嫩谷焚獻其子、焚獻其子原文作使其子過於火又占卜、用法術邪術、信交鬼者、問巫覡、多行惡於主前、干主震怒、又在天主殿、置所作雕刻之偶像、論此殿、昔天主諭大衛及其子所羅門曰、此殿及耶路撒冷、我於以色列諸支派中所選者、我必使我名永在其中、我藉摩西所命一切律例、禮儀、法度、如以色列人謹守遵行、則我不復使之遷移、使之遷移原文作使其足離我所賜其列祖之地、乃瑪拿西誘猶大人及耶路撒冷居民行惡、較主在以色列人前所滅之諸族尤甚、

羅波安王五年、伊及王示撒來攻耶路撒冷、因王與民獲罪於主、

其地偶像徧立、崇拜己手所製、己指所作、賤者低、貴者降、主毋赦之、

凡有血氣者、必知我天主燃之、不得撲滅、

出迎亞撒謂之曰、亞撒、及猶大人、便雅憫人、須聽我言、如爾從主、主必祐爾、如爾尋求主、主必為爾所得、如爾棄主、主必棄爾、

猶大遘此災、乃由主所命、欲除之於其前、皆因瑪拿西所作之罪惡、亦因其流無辜之血、徧於耶路撒冷、此罪主決不赦免、

故主以烈怒傾洩其上、使遇爭戰兇暴之事、火焚四周、火焚四周或作四周烈怒炎炎如火而猶不知、燬及其身、仍不以為念、
