因為耶羅波安犯罪作孽，使以色列人陷入罪中，耶和華必拋棄以色列。」

「你們不可做這些事玷污自己。因為我要在你們面前趕走的各國正是因為這些行為而玷污了自己。

利乏音族人數眾多，像亞衲人一樣身材高大。耶和華消滅了他們，讓亞捫人佔領他們的土地，住在那裡。

因為你遵守暗利的惡規，效法亞哈家的惡行，隨從他們的計謀，所以我要使你荒涼，讓你的居民成為笑柄。你們要蒙受列國的羞辱。」

瑪拿西不僅使猶大人犯罪，做耶和華視為惡的事，還濫殺無辜，使耶路撒冷血流遍地。

你和你母親及姊妹如出一轍，都厭棄自己的丈夫和兒女。你母親是赫人，你父親是亞摩利人。你姐姐是撒瑪利亞，她和她的女兒們住在你的北面。你妹妹是所多瑪，她和她的女兒們住在你的南面。你不僅追隨她們可憎的行徑，還很快超過了她們。

我領你們來到約旦河東邊亞摩利人居住的地方。他們跟你們爭戰，我把他們交在你們手中，使你們佔領他們的土地作自己的產業。我把他們從你們面前全部消滅。
