When he prayed to Him, He was moved by him and heard his pleading, and brought him back to Jerusalem to his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord alone is God.

And when he prayed to him, the Lord was moved by his entreaty and listened to his plea; so he brought him back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord is God.

Manasseh prayed to him. When he did, the Lord felt sorry for him. He answered his prayer. The Lord brought Manasseh back to Jerusalem and his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord is God.

And when he prayed, the Lord listened to him and was moved by his request. So the Lord brought Manasseh back to Jerusalem and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh finally realized that the Lord alone is God!

He prayed to Him, so He heard his petition and granted his request, and brought him back to Jerusalem, to his kingdom. So Manasseh came to know that Yahweh is God.

And prayed unto him: and he was intreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD he[ was] God.

When he prayed to the LORD, the LORD responded to him and answered favorably his cry for mercy. The LORD brought him back to Jerusalem to his kingdom. Then Manasseh realized that the LORD is the true God.

He prayed to him; and he was entreated by him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that Yahweh was God.

They were helped against them, and the Hagrites and all who were with them were handed over to them; for they cried out to God in the battle, and He answered their prayers because they trusted in Him.

So we fasted and sought our God concerning this matter, and He listened to our pleading.

that you be driven away from mankind and your dwelling place be with the animals of the field, and you be given grass to eat like cattle and be drenched with the dew of heaven; and seven periods of time will pass over you, until you recognize that the Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind and bestows it on whomever He wishes.

“ Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.

“ Stop striving and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted on the earth.”

And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

You have not eaten bread, nor have you drunk wine or other strong drink, in order that you might know that I am the Lord your God.

The king’s heart is like channels of water in the hand of the Lord; He turns it wherever He pleases.

Then He opens the ears of people, And horrifies them with warnings,So that He may turn a person away from bad conduct, And keep a man from pride;He keeps his soul back from the pit, And his life from perishing by the spear.“ A person is also rebuked by pain in his bed, And with constant complaint in his bones,So that his life loathes bread, And his soul, food that he should crave.His flesh wastes away from sight, And his bones, which were not seen, stick out.Then his soul comes near to the pit, And his life to those who bring death.“ If there is an interceding angel for him, One out of a thousand, To remind a person of what is right for him,And he is gracious to him, and says,‘ Free him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom’;Let his flesh become fresher than in youth, Let him return to the days of his youthful vigor;Then he will pray to God, and He will accept him, So that he may see His face with joy, And He will restore His righteousness to that person.He will sing to people and say,‘ I have sinned and perverted what is right, And it is not proper for me.He has redeemed my soul from going to the pit, And my life will see the light.’“ Behold, God does all these things for a man two or three times,To bring back his soul from the pit, So that he may be enlightened with the light of life.

Jesus replied to her,“ If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who is saying to you,‘ Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”

Blessed be the Lord, the God of our fathers, who has put such a thing as this in the king’s heart, to glorify the house of the Lord which is in Jerusalem,

When I kept silent about my sin, my body wasted away Through my groaning all day long.For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; My vitality failed as with the dry heat of summer. SelahI acknowledged my sin to You, And I did not hide my guilt; I said,“ I will confess my wrongdoings to the Lord”; And You forgave the guilt of my sin. Selah

Seek the Lord while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near.Let the wicked abandon his way, And the unrighteous person his thoughts; And let him return to the Lord, And He will have compassion on him, And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.“ For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.“ For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts.

And he was saying,“ Jesus, remember me when You come into Your kingdom!”And He said to him,“ Truly I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.

I will also give them a heart to know Me, for I am the Lord; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me wholeheartedly.

But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you.

And they will not teach, each one his fellow citizen, And each one his brother, saying,‘ Know the Lord,’ For they will all know Me, From the least to the greatest of them.

The Lord has made Himself known; He has executed judgment. A wicked one is ensnared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion Selah

If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored; If you remove injustice far from your tent,

“ But at the end of that period, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever; For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, And His kingdom endures from generation to generation.All the inhabitants of the earth are of no account, But He does according to His will among the army of heaven And among the inhabitants of earth; And no one can fend off His hand Or say to Him,‘ What have You done?’

For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all who call upon You.

When a person’s ways are pleasing to the Lord, He causes even his enemies to make peace with him.

You will pray to Him, and He will hear you; And you will pay your vows.
