耶和华如此说：“倚靠人，以血肉为膀臂，心中离弃耶和华的，那人该受诅咒！

他说：“犹大众人、耶路撒冷的居民和约沙法王啊，你们要留心听，耶和华对你们如此说：‘不要因这大军恐惧惊惶，因为胜败不在乎你们，而是在乎上帝。

惟有主站在我身边，加给我力量，使我能把福音完整地传开，让所有的外邦人都听见；我也从狮子口里被救出来。

看哪，率领我们的是上帝，又有他的祭司拿号向你们吹出响声。以色列人哪，不要与耶和华—你们列祖的上帝争战，因你们必不能得胜。”

万军之耶和华与我们同在，雅各的上帝是我们的避难所！

因为与你们同去的是耶和华—你们的上帝，他要为你们与仇敌作战，拯救你们。’

清晨，众人早起往提哥亚的旷野去。出去的时候，约沙法站着说：“犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民哪，要听我说：信靠耶和华—你们的上帝就必站立得稳；信赖他的先知就必亨通。”

人心忧虑，就必沉重；一句良言，使心欢乐。

你不要害怕，因为我与你同在；不要惊惶，因为我是你的上帝。我必坚固你，帮助你，用我公义的右手扶持你。

“你出去与仇敌作战，若看见马匹、战车，以及比你更多的士兵，不要怕他们，因为领你出埃及地的耶和华—你的上帝与你同在。

孩子们哪，你们是属上帝的，并且胜过了假先知，因为那在你们里面的比那在世界上的更大。

有我与你同在，没有人会下手害你，因为在这城里有许多属我的人。”

亚撒呼求耶和华—他的上帝说：“耶和华啊，在强弱之间，惟有你能帮助。耶和华—我们的上帝啊，求你帮助我们，因为我们仰赖你，奉你的名来抵挡这大军。耶和华啊，你是我们的上帝，不要让人胜过你。”

恐怕希西家误导你们说，耶和华必拯救我们。列国的神明有哪一个曾救它本国脱离亚述王的手呢？

万军之耶和华与我们同在，雅各的上帝是我们的避难所！（细拉）

约书亚一举击败了这些王，夺了他们的地，因为耶和华—以色列的上帝为以色列作战。

你有上帝那样的膀臂吗？你能像他那样发雷声吗？

现在，不要让希西家这样欺骗你们，诱惑你们，也不要相信他，因为没有一国一邦的神明能救自己的百姓脱离我的手和我祖先的手，你们的上帝也绝不能救你们脱离我的手。’”

愿主与你的灵同在！愿恩惠与你们同在！

任凭你们筹算什么，终必无效；不管你们讲定什么，总不成立；因为上帝与我们同在。
