強乃志、壯乃心、亞述王率軍旅以來、毋懼、蓋助我者、較助彼者眾、

神人说：“不要惧怕！因与我们同在的比与他们同在的更多。”

最后，你们要靠着主，依赖他的大能大力作刚强的人。

既是这样，我们对这些事还要怎么说呢？上帝若帮助我们，谁能抵挡我们呢？

孩子们哪，你们是属上帝的，并且胜过了假先知，因为那在你们里面的比那在世界上的更大。

他说：“犹大众人、耶路撒冷的居民和约沙法王啊，你们要留心听，耶和华对你们如此说：‘不要因这大军恐惧惊惶，因为胜败不在乎你们，而是在乎上帝。

“万军之耶和华如此说：你们的手要坚强；这些日子，你们已听见先知的口，在万军之耶和华殿的根基立定、圣殿建造的日子所说的这些话。

万军之耶和华如此说：在那些日子，列国中说各种语言的人，必有十个人强拉住一个犹大人衣服的边，说：‘我们要与你们同去，因为我们听见上帝与你们同在了。’”

那时候，你若谨守遵行耶和华藉摩西吩咐以色列的律例典章，就得亨通。你当刚强壮胆，不要惧怕，也不要惊惶。

你们当刚强壮胆，不要害怕，也不要畏惧他们，因为耶和华—你的上帝必与你同去；他必不撇下你，也不丢弃你。”摩西召了约书亚来，在以色列众人眼前对他说：“你当刚强壮胆！因为你要和这百姓一同进入耶和华向他们列祖起誓要给他们的地，你也要使他们承受那地为业。

以赛亚对他们说：“要对你们的主人这样说，耶和华如此说：‘你听见亚述王的仆人亵渎我的话，不要惧怕。看哪，我必惊动他的心，他要听见风声就归回本地，在那里我必使他倒在刀下。’”

耶和华吩咐嫩的儿子约书亚说：“你当刚强壮胆，因为你必领以色列人进入我所起誓应许他们的地，我必与你同在。”

他说：“蒙爱的人哪，不要惧怕，愿你平安！你要刚强！要刚强！”他一对我说话，我就觉得有力量，说：“我主请说，因你使我有力量。”

大卫又对他儿子所罗门说：“你当刚强壮胆去做！不要惧怕，也不要惊惶，因为耶和华上帝，我的上帝与你同在。他必不撇下你，也不丢弃你，直到耶和华殿的工作都完毕。

你当刚强壮胆，因为你必使这百姓承受那地为业，就是我向他们列祖起誓要给他们的地。只要刚强，大大壮胆，谨守遵行我仆人摩西所吩咐你的一切律法，不可偏离左右，使你无论往哪里去，都可以顺利。这律法书不可离开你的口，总要昼夜思想，好使你谨守遵行这书上所写的一切话。如此，你的道路就可以亨通，凡事顺利。我岂没有吩咐你吗？你当刚强壮胆，不要惧怕，也不要惊惶，因为你无论往哪里去，耶和华你的上帝必与你同在。”

对心里焦急的人说：“要刚强，不要惧怕。看哪，你们的上帝要来施报，要施行极大的报应，他必来拯救你们。”

不要听凭希西家说服你们倚靠耶和华，他说，耶和华必要拯救我们，这城必不交在亚述王的手中。’

现在你当谨慎，因耶和华拣选你建造殿宇作为圣所。你当刚强去做。”

我儿啊，你要在基督耶稣的恩典上刚强起来。
