驕矜既至、恥辱亦至、惟謙卑者、智慧與俱、

耶和華曰、我今崛起、我今勃興、我今高舉、爾將孕秕穅、產草芥、爾氣乃火、焚燬己身、列邦如被焚之灰、猶已刈之荊棘、見燬於火、○

必使其敵蒙羞、彼之冠冕、光輝發越兮、

心強者被刦而永臥、有能者無所措手兮、

萬軍之主耶和華、必以威烈伐其枝、雄幹見斫、高者降卑、以鐵斬其叢林、利巴嫩為力士所毀、

不然、曷能禦我主之僕、軍長至微之一、豈恃埃及、得其車騎耶、

倨傲為淪亡之先導、心驕乃隕越之前因、

世之諸王、大夫、將帥、富人、力士、為奴者、自由者、皆自匿於山洞山巖、謂山與巖曰、傾而匿我、以避居於座者之面及羔之怒、

其心明、其力強、自愎而敵之者、孰能亨通、

爾敵之眾、將如纖塵、強暴之多、將如飛糠、其事成於俄頃、萬軍之耶和華、將以霹靂、地震轟聲、旋風狂飇、焚燬之火臨之、凡列邦之眾、擊亞利伊勒、攻其保障而苦之者、將如夢寐、若夜間之幻象、又如飢者夢食、醒而枵腹、渴者夢飲、醒而困憊、其心仍有所欲、列邦之眾攻錫安山者、亦若是也、○

緣此、萬軍之主耶和華、將使肥者為瘠、其貨財之下、如爇火而焚、以色列之光為火、其聖者為焰、一日之間、燬其荊棘蒺藜、爇其茂林腴田之榮華、身心俱滅、勢如病者日漸衰頹、其林遺木無幾、童穉可記錄之、○

我又見一使立於日中、大聲而呼、謂凡飛於天空之鳥曰、來、集赴上帝之盛筵、俾得食君王將帥勇士、及馬與乘之者、或自主為奴、與卑者尊者之肉、○
