現在不要像你們列祖硬着頸項，只要歸順耶和華，進入他的聖所，就是永遠成聖的居所；又要事奉耶和華－你們的神，好使他的烈怒轉離你們。

現在你們不要硬着脖子、像你們列祖那樣；你們只要舉手起誓歸順永恆主，進入他的聖所、他永遠分別為聖的地方，來事奉永恆主你們的上帝，好使他的烈怒轉離你們。

勿似爾列祖之強項、當歸順耶和華、入其永別為聖之所、奉事爾上帝耶和華、俾其烈怒離爾、

毋強爾項、濟乃父之惡、宜從耶和華。彼之聖室、業已成潔、歷世弗替、爾當入之、役事爾之上帝耶和華、則其震怒可息。

勿似爾祖父剛愎、當歸順主、至主所永定為聖之殿、奉事主爾列祖之天主、庶主向爾息怒、

Do not be stiff-necked, as your ancestors were; submit to the Lord. Come to his sanctuary, which he has consecrated forever. Serve the Lord your God, so that his fierce anger will turn away from you.

Don’t be stubborn. Don’t be as your people were. Obey the Lord. Come to his temple. He has set it apart to himself forever. Serve the Lord your God. Then he’ll stop being angry with you.

Do not now be stiff-necked as your fathers were, but yield yourselves to the Lord and come to his sanctuary, which he has consecrated forever, and serve the Lord your God, that his fierce anger may turn away from you.

Do not be stubborn, as they were, but submit yourselves to the Lord. Come to his Temple, which he has set apart as holy forever. Worship the Lord your God so that his fierce anger will turn away from you.

Don’t become obstinate now like your ancestors did. Give your allegiance to the LORD, and come to his sanctuary that he has consecrated forever. Serve the LORD your God so that he may turn his burning anger away from you,

Now do not stiffen your neck like your fathers, but yield to the Lord and enter His sanctuary which He has consecrated forever, and serve the Lord your God, that His burning anger may turn away from you.

Now do not be stiff-necked, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves to the Lord; and enter His sanctuary, which He has sanctified forever, and serve the Lord your God, that the fierceness of His wrath may turn away from you.

Now be ye not stiffnecked, as your fathers were; but yield yourselves unto Jehovah, and enter into his sanctuary, which he hath sanctified for ever, and serve Jehovah your God, that his fierce anger may turn away from you.

Don’t become obstinate now like your fathers did. Give your allegiance to Yahweh, and come to His sanctuary that He has consecrated forever. Serve the Lord your God so that He may turn His burning anger away from you,

Now be ye not stiffnecked, as your fathers[ were, but] yield yourselves unto the LORD, and enter into his sanctuary, which he hath sanctified for ever: and serve the LORD your God, that the fierceness of his wrath may turn away from you.

Now, don’t be stubborn like your fathers! Submit to the LORD and come to his sanctuary which he has permanently consecrated. Serve the LORD your God so that he might relent from his raging anger.

Now don’t be stiff- necked, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves to Yahweh, and enter into his sanctuary, which he has sanctified forever, and serve Yahweh your God, that his fierce anger may turn away from you.

耶和華對摩西說：「我看這百姓真是硬着頸項的百姓。

現在我心中有意與耶和華－以色列的神立約，好使他的烈怒轉離我們。

所以你們要將心裏的污穢除掉，不可再硬着頸項。

我在聖所中曾如此瞻仰你，為要見你的能力和你的榮耀。

等我進了神的聖所，思想他們的結局。

眾首領和勇士，並大衛王的眾子，都順服所羅門王。

你們作僕人的，要凡事聽從你們肉身的主人，不要只在眼前事奉，像是討人喜歡的，總要存心誠實敬畏主。無論做甚麼，都要從心裏做，像是給主做的，不是給人做的，因你們知道從主那裏必得着基業為賞賜；你們所事奉的乃是主基督。

若有人服事我，就當跟從我；我在哪裏，服事我的人也要在那裏；若有人服事我，我父必尊重他。」

若是你們以事奉耶和華為不好，今日就可以選擇所要事奉的：是你們列祖在大河那邊所事奉的神呢？是你們所住這地的亞摩利人的神呢？至於我和我家，我們必定事奉耶和華。」

所以，他們在神寶座前，晝夜在他殿中事奉他。坐寶座的要用帳幕覆庇他們。

對他們說：「你們不可帶進這被擄的人來！你們想要使我們得罪耶和華，加增我們的罪惡過犯？因為我們的罪過甚大，已經有烈怒臨到以色列人了。」

你要敬畏耶和華－你的神，事奉他，指着他的名起誓。

尼布甲尼撒曾使他指着神起誓，他卻背叛，強項硬心，不歸服耶和華－以色列的神。

埃及的公侯要出來朝見神；古實人要急忙舉手禱告。

耶穌說：「撒但，退去吧！因為經上記着說：當拜主－你的神，單要事奉他。」

現在你們當聽我說，要將擄來的弟兄釋放回去，因為耶和華向你們已經大發烈怒。」

神啊，你是我的神，我的王；人已經看見你行走，進入聖所。

要留意遵守耶和華－你們神所吩咐的誡命、法度、律例。

他們便應許必休他們的妻。他們因有罪，就獻羣中的一隻公綿羊贖罪。

但現今，你們既從罪裏得了釋放，作了神的奴僕，就有成聖的果子，那結局就是永生。

然而，耶和華向猶大所發猛烈的怒氣仍不止息，是因瑪拿西諸事惹動他。

也不要將你們的肢體獻給罪作不義的器具；倒要像從死裏復活的人，將自己獻給神，並將肢體作義的器具獻給神。罪必不能作你們的主；因你們不在律法之下，乃在恩典之下。這卻怎麼樣呢？我們在恩典之下，不在律法之下，就可以犯罪嗎？斷乎不可！豈不曉得你們獻上自己作奴僕，順從誰，就作誰的奴僕嗎？或作罪的奴僕，以至於死；或作順命的奴僕，以致成義。感謝神！因為你們從前雖然作罪的奴僕，現今卻從心裏順服了所傳給你們道理的模範。你們既從罪裏得了釋放，就作了義的奴僕。我因你們肉體的軟弱，就照人的常話對你們說。你們從前怎樣將肢體獻給不潔不法作奴僕，以至於不法；現今也要照樣將肢體獻給義作奴僕，以至於成聖。

因為耶和華揀選了錫安，願意當作自己的居所，說：這是我永遠安息之所；我要住在這裏，因為是我所願意的。

他使猛烈的怒氣和忿怒、惱恨、苦難成了一羣降災的使者，臨到他們。

至於以色列人，他說：「我整天伸手招呼那悖逆頂嘴的百姓。」
