年久民未循例守禮、故立志普告以色列族、自但及別是巴、使咸至耶路撒冷、守逾越節、奉事以色列族之上帝耶和華。

于是定了命令，传遍以色列，从别是巴直到但，使他们都来，在耶路撒冷向耶和华以色列的神守逾越节；因为照所写的例，守这节的不多了。

于是他们下令，通告全以色列，从别是巴直到但，吩咐百姓都来，在耶路撒冷向耶和华—以色列的上帝守逾越节，因为他们已经许久没有照所写的守这节了。

They decided to send a proclamation throughout Israel, from Beersheba to Dan, calling the people to come to Jerusalem and celebrate the Passover to the Lord, the God of Israel. It had not been celebrated in large numbers according to what was written.

They decided to send a message all through Israel. It was sent out from Beersheba all the way to Dan. The message invited the people to come to Jerusalem. It invited them to celebrate the Passover Feast to honor the Lord, the God of Israel. The Passover Feast hadn’t been celebrated by large numbers of people for a long time. It hadn’t been done in keeping with what was written in the law.

So they decreed to make a proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba to Dan, that the people should come and keep the Passover to the Lord, the God of Israel, at Jerusalem, for they had not kept it as often as prescribed.

So they sent a proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba in the south to Dan in the north, inviting everyone to come to Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover of the Lord, the God of Israel. The people had not been celebrating it in great numbers as required in the Law.

以色列會眾群集、自但至別是巴、與基列地之民、皆至米斯巴、咸懷一心、立於耶和華前。

我所諭者、爾必遵行、毋增毋減。

告猶大族、耶路撒冷民、當奉耶和華金、循上帝僕摩西、在野所命以色列族之例、

申命收河西餉稅、於其中取金、予猶大族長老、使建上帝殿、俾興作無所窒礙。彼宜用犢、牡綿羊、綿羊羔、為燔祭、奉事天上上帝、亦用麥鹽油酒、應耶路撒冷祭司所求、爾必供給、日恆不絕。俾得獻祭、奉事天上上帝、取其馨香、為王及王子祈禱。我頒詔天下、如違我命、則取其室之梁木立之、懸其人於上、以其室為厠。昔上帝簡是殿、為籲厥名之所、或君或民、欲廢斯命、毀耶路撒冷之殿、願上帝加以翦滅、我降是詔、速行勿緩。

木底改錄之於册、布告各州之猶大人、無間遠邇。使每歲恪守亞達月之十四日十五日。

耶和華諭耶利米之預言必應、故巴西王古列元年、耶和華感動古列之心、詔告天下、曰、

兄弟乎、我許爾、以爾常憶我、守我所授之命、

爾曹書詔、惟所欲為、鈐以國璽、使猶大人自相扞衛則可、前詔已頒、國璽已鈐、不能改也。三月、即西番月、二十三日、王召繕寫、從木底改所言、命猶大人、及州牧方伯、自印度至古實、所統轄者百有二十七州、用各州及猶大人方言文字鈐以國璽、遣郵乘良馬健騾、頒詔天下。

告以色列族、我之節期、是為聖會、有常例焉。

正月十三日、王召繕寫、從哈曼所欲書之、詔依各州方言文字、鈐以國璽、普告臣工、方伯、民長、遣郵頒詔各州使於十二月、即亞達月、十三日、殺戮猶大人、取其貨財、凡旄倪妻子、毋俾遺種。詔行各州、布告億兆、屆期舉事。在書山城降詔、王命孔急、郵行迅速、王與哈曼飲宴、書山之民不樂。

外此亦有節期、以為聖會、屆期必告於眾。

自先知撒母耳時、迄於今日、以色列族列王、未守逾越節、若約西亞、祭司利未人、猶大以色列二族、耶路撒冷民所守者。
