Hezekiah spoke encouragingly to all the Levites, who showed good understanding of the service of the Lord. For the seven days they ate their assigned portion and offered fellowship offerings and praised the Lord, the God of their ancestors.

Hezekiah spoke words that gave hope to all the Levites. They understood how to serve the Lord well. For the seven days of the feast they ate the share given to them. They also sacrificed friendship offerings. They praised the Lord, the God of their people.

And Hezekiah spoke encouragingly to all the Levites who showed good skill in the service of the Lord. So they ate the food of the festival for seven days, sacrificing peace offerings and giving thanks to the Lord, the God of their fathers.

Hezekiah encouraged all the Levites regarding the skill they displayed as they served the Lord. The celebration continued for seven days. Peace offerings were sacrificed, and the people gave thanks to the Lord, the God of their ancestors.

Then Hezekiah encouraged all the Levites who performed skillfully before the LORD. They ate at the appointed festival for seven days, sacrificing fellowship offerings and giving thanks to the LORD, the God of their ancestors.

And Hezekiah spake comfortably unto all the Levites that had good understanding in the service of Jehovah. So they did eat throughout the feast for the seven days, offering sacrifices of peace- offerings, and making confession to Jehovah, the God of their fathers.

Then Hezekiah encouraged all the Levites who performed skillfully before the Lord. They ate at the appointed festival for seven days, sacrificing fellowship offerings and giving thanks to Yahweh, the God of their ancestors.

And Hezekiah spake comfortably unto all the Levites that taught the good knowledge of the LORD: and they did eat throughout the feast seven days, offering peace offerings, and making confession to the LORD God of their fathers.

Hezekiah expressed his appreciation to all the Levites, who demonstrated great skill in serving the LORD. They feasted for the seven days of the festival, and were making peace offerings and giving thanks to the LORD God of their ancestors.

他们站在自己的地方，宣读他们上帝耶和华的律法书，长达三个小时。他们又用了三个小时认罪，敬拜他们的上帝耶和华。

他委任将领管理民众，将他们全部召集在城门的广场上，训勉他们说：

因为耶和华赐人智慧，知识和悟性出自祂的口。祂使正直人充满智慧，是行为纯全者的盾牌。

他们带着耶和华的律法书，走遍犹大各城镇教导民众。

“然而，我要挽回她，领她到旷野，柔声安慰她。

他们把你的典章传授给雅各，把你的律法传授给以色列；他们要把香献在你面前，把全牲燔祭献在你的坛上。

不但如此，我看万事都毫无价值，因为认识我主基督耶稣最宝贵。我为祂失去了一切，我把失去的一切视为垃圾，好得到基督，

又对将自己献给耶和华、负责教导以色列人的利未人说：“你们把圣约柜放在以色列王大卫的儿子所罗门建的殿里，不用再扛在肩上。现在你们去事奉你们的上帝耶和华和祂的以色列子民吧。

“你以斯拉要运用上帝赐给你的智慧委派官员和审判官，让他们治理河西省的人民，就是明白你上帝律法的人。你要教导那些不明白你上帝律法的人。

你们听啊，我要说美好的话，开口谈论正直的事。

你们要对当值的祭司说，‘今天我们要向我们的上帝耶和华宣告，我们已经进入祂向我们祖先起誓要赐给我们的土地。’祭司要从你们手中接过篮子，放在你们的上帝耶和华的祭坛前。你们要在你们的上帝耶和华面前宣告，‘我们的祖先原是到处流浪的亚兰人。他到埃及寄居时，家中人丁稀少，后来成为人口众多的强大民族。埃及人苦待我们，压迫我们，强迫我们做奴隶。于是，我们呼求我们祖先的上帝耶和华。祂听见我们的呼求，看见我们的艰难、困苦和所受的压迫，就伸出臂膀，用大能的手行神迹奇事，以伟大而可畏的作为带领我们离开埃及。祂带领我们来到这个地方，把这奶蜜之乡赐给我们。耶和华啊，现在我们从你赐给我们的土地上带来初熟的物产。’你们要把篮子放在你们的上帝耶和华面前，敬拜祂。你们和利未人以及住在你们中间的外族人，都要因你们的上帝耶和华赐给你们和你们家人的美物而欢喜快乐。

以色列人已经许久没有真神，没有祭司教导，也没有律法。

耶书亚、巴尼、示利比、雅悯、亚谷、沙比太、荷第雅、玛西雅、基利他、亚撒利雅、约撒拔、哈难、毗莱雅和利未人帮助民众明白律法，当时民众都站在自己的地方。他们宣读上帝的律法书，并解释清楚，使民众明白所宣读的。

无论时机好坏，都要坚持传道，以百般的忍耐和教导督责人，警戒人，勉励人。

你们的上帝说：“你们要安慰我的子民。要温柔地告诉耶路撒冷，她的苦难已经结束，她的罪恶已经被除去。她因自己的一切罪已受到耶和华加倍的惩罚。”

这永生就是，认识你——独一的真神，并且认识你所差来的耶稣基督。

因为那吩咐光从黑暗中照射出来的上帝光照了我们的心，为要让我们认识上帝在耶稣基督的面容上所彰显的荣耀。
