約沙法既與民議、使謳歌者衣聖禮服、行於軍前頌讚主曰、當頌美主、因主之恩永遠長存云、

王使利未人執鈸與琴與瑟、在主殿奏樂、循大衛與其先見迦得及先知拿單所定之例、乃主藉諸先知所命者也、利未人執大衛之樂器、祭司執角而立、希西家命獻火焚祭於祭臺、火焚祭始獻、即謳歌頌美主、和以角、並用以色列王大衛之樂器、

除酵節、當宰逾越節羔之日既至、

如是、在耶路撒冷有大樂、自以色列王大衛子所羅門時以來、在耶路撒冷未有若此之樂也、

日日一心在聖殿、又家家擘餅、歡心誠意而食、

守節期之時、爾與子女奴婢、及居於爾邑之利未人、客旅孤寡、俱必歡樂、

吹角頌揚主、彈琴鼓瑟頌揚主、擊鼓舞蹈頌揚主、揮絃品簫頌揚主、用大聲之鐃頌揚主、用和聲之鈸頌揚主、

爾當常因主而喜樂、我復言爾曹當喜樂、
