who wants to worship God with all their heart. God is the Lord, the God of their people. May God forgive them even if they aren’t‘ clean’ in keeping with the rules of the temple.”

然而你還有良好的表現，因為你從國中將亞舍拉神木肅清，你並且立定了心意尋求上帝。』

弟子啊，要將你的心給予我；你的眼要喜悅我的道路。

因為以斯拉立定了心意研究永恆主的律法而遵行它，又在以色列中教授了律例和典章。

『你呢，你若將心守正，伸開雙手向他禱告——

永恆主啊，困苦人的心願你早已聽見；他們心中的悲歎你必側耳以聽，

永恆主我們列祖亞伯拉罕以撒以色列的上帝啊，求你保守這一點：使你人民心裏永遠存着這樣思想的意念，求你使他們立定心意歸向你。

只是邱壇還沒有廢去；人民還沒有立定心意歸向他們列祖的上帝。

你要對他們說：你們世世代代眾後裔中，凡身蒙不潔、而走近以色列人所分別為聖而歸永恆主的聖物的、那人總必須從我面前被剪除：我永恆主。亞倫的後裔中，凡生痲瘋屬之病的、或是有漏症的、總要等到得潔淨了、才可以喫聖物。無論誰觸着那因死人而不潔的任何東西，或是任何出精的人，或是觸着任何使他蒙不潔的滋生動物，或是觸着使他蒙不潔的人、不拘那人蒙了甚麼不潔：人觸着這些東西或人、總會不潔淨到晚上；他若不在水中洗身，就不可喫聖物。

『你要告訴亞倫說：你世世代代的後裔中、凡有殘疾的、都不可以走近前來獻他的上帝的食物。因為凡有殘疾的人、無論是瞎眼的、瘸腿的、塌鼻子的、肢體有餘的、無論是折腳折手的、駝背的、矮小的、眼睛有毛病的、長牛皮癬的、長疹瘡的、或是腎子損壞的、都不可走近前來。祭司亞倫的後裔中、凡有殘疾的人、都不可挨近前來獻永恆主的火祭；他有殘疾，他不可挨近前來獻他的上帝的食物。他的上帝的食物、無論是至聖的、或是聖的、他都可以喫；只是不可進到帷帳前，也不可挨近祭壇前，因為他有殘疾，免得他褻瀆我聖的所在；我永恆主、是把他們分別為聖的。』

凡觸着死人、觸着死了的人類的屍體、而不除罪染的、就要讓永恆主的帳幕蒙不潔，這人必須從以色列中被剪除；因為除污穢的水沒有潑在他身上，他是不潔淨的；他所蒙的不潔還在他身上。『人死在帳棚裏、其法規乃是這樣：凡進那帳棚的、和一切在帳棚裏的、都不潔淨七天。凡敞開着口的器皿、就是沒有蓋上蓋、沒有封上帶子的、也是不潔淨。無論何人在田野上觸着被刀刺死的、或自己死的、或是人類的骨頭、或是墳墓、就不潔淨七天。人要為這不潔淨的人拿些燒成的除罪灰、放在器皿裏，倒上活水。要有一個潔淨的人拿脣形薄荷蘸在這水中，把水灑在帳棚上、和一切器皿、跟帳棚裏的眾人身上，也灑在觸着骨頭，或觸着被刺死的、或自己死的、或觸着墳墓的人身上。第三天第七天那潔淨的人要灑水在不潔淨的人身上，第七天、就使他除了罪染；那人要把衣服洗淨，在水中洗澡，到晚上就潔淨了。『但不潔淨而不除罪染的、這人必須從大眾中被剪除，因為他使永恆主的聖所蒙不潔，除污穢的水又沒有潑在他身上；他是不潔淨的。

『你們要這樣使以色列人和他們的不潔淨隔離，免得他們使我的帳幕、那在他們中間的帳幕、蒙不潔，而他們就因自己的不潔淨而死亡。』這是關於患漏症者的法規，關於那有精液從身上洩出、因而不潔淨的，關於在污穢期中有月經病的，關於男性或女性患漏症的，以及關於男人和不潔淨女人同寢的法規。

婦人在產血潔淨的過程中要住在家裏三十三天；潔淨的日子未滿以前、她不可觸着甚麼聖物，也不可進入聖所。

有幾個人是因人的屍體而不潔淨的、不能在那一天舉行逾越節；就在那一天他們就走來到摩西、亞倫面前；

撒母耳對以色列全家說：『你們若一心回轉來歸向永恆主，把外人的神從你們中間除掉，也除掉亞斯他錄，立定心意歸向永恆主，單單事奉他，他就援救你們脫離非利士人的手。』
