然王自國中除諸亞舍拉、盡心尋求天主、王此事猶可謂善、

我子、當一心歸我、爾目當注注或作悅我示爾之道、

以斯拉盡心考究主之律法而遵行之、又以律例法度誨以色列人、

告之曰、凡爾歷代子孫、有人身蒙不潔、而近以色列人所區別為聖獻於我之物、必絕於我前、我乃主、凡亞倫子孫中患癩者、患白濁者、未潔之先、毋食聖物、如人捫因屍蒙不潔者、或夢遺、或捫使人不潔之蟲、或捫使人蒙不潔之人、無論其身有何不潔、凡捫此諸類者、必不潔至夕、若未以水濯身、毋食聖物、

爾告亞倫云、爾歷代後裔、凡有殘疾者、毋許就近獻祭以饗其天主、凡有殘疾者、皆毋就近、即如瞽者、跛者、缺鼻者、四肢不齊者、折手折足者、駝背者、枯瘦者、目有雲膜者、長疥生癬者、損其外腎者、祭司亞倫之子孫、凡有殘疾者、毋就近於主獻火祭、以其有殘疾、毋就近獻祭以饗其天主、祭其天主之物、無論為至聖者、為聖者、彼則可食、惟毋至幔前、毋近於祭臺、緣有殘疾、恐玷我之聖所、因我耶和華已使之為聖、

凡捫人之屍而不淨身、則玷污主之聖所、其人必滅絕於以色列族中、因淨水未灑於其身、仍為不潔、其不潔尚存、若人死於幕中、亦有定例、凡入其幕或已在幕者、必不潔七日、凡器皿啟開、不覆以蓋者、亦蒙不潔、凡在野或捫見殺者與自死者之屍、或捫人骨、或捫塚墓、必不潔七日、當為不潔者、取所焚贖罪祭牝牛之灰少許、置於器皿、加以活水、必一潔者、取牛膝草置於水中、灑於幕與諸器皿、及幕內之諸人、又灑於捫屍骨、或捫見殺者與自死者之屍、或捫塚墓者、第三日、第七日、潔者必灑於不潔者、至第七日使之成潔、彼更滌衣、以水濯身、至夕始潔、人若蒙不潔而不淨身、必滅絕於會中、因玷污主之聖所、淨水未灑於其身、仍為不潔、

爾當戒以色列人毋染污穢、恐其蒙不潔、而污其中我之居所、遂至死亡、以上乃論男患白濁與遺精蒙不潔、女行經與患崩漏、並人與不潔之婦同寢之例、

婦既生產流血、當三十三日居於家乃潔、其期未滿、毋捫聖物、毋入聖所、

有數人因近屍蒙不潔、不能於是日守逾越節、故當日至摩西亞倫前曰、

撒母耳謂以色列族之眾曰、如爾盡心歸主、則以異邦之神及諸亞斯他錄除於爾中、專心向主、獨崇事主、如此、主必援爾於非利士人之手、
