你们若对我说：我们倚靠耶和华我们的神，希西家岂不是将神的邱坛和祭坛废去，且对犹大和耶路撒冷的人说：你们当在耶路撒冷这坛前敬拜吗？

众人在他面前拆毁巴力的坛，砍断坛上高高的日像，又把木偶和雕刻的像，并铸造的像打碎成灰，撒在祭偶像人的坟上，

又拆毁祭坛，把木偶和雕刻的像打碎成灰，砍断以色列遍地所有的日像，就回耶路撒冷去了。

犹大列王在亚哈斯楼顶上所筑的坛和玛拿西在耶和华殿两院中所筑的坛，王都拆毁打碎了，就把灰倒在汲沦溪中。从前以色列王所罗门在耶路撒冷前、邪僻山右边为西顿人可憎的神亚斯他录、摩押人可憎的神基抹、亚扪人可憎的神米勒公所筑的邱坛，王都污秽了，

耶稣说了这话，就同门徒出去，过了汲沦溪。在那里有一个园子，他和门徒进去了。

偶像必全然废弃。耶和华兴起，使地大震动的时候，人就进入石洞，进入土穴，躲避耶和华的惊吓和他威严的荣光。到那日，人必将为拜而造的金偶像、银偶像抛给田鼠和蝙蝠。
