他照樣把血灑在會幕和各樣應用的器皿上。按著律法，幾乎所有都是用血潔淨的，如果沒有流血，就沒有赦免。

他把贖罪祭的公牛牽來；亞倫和他的兒子按手在贖罪祭的公牛的頭上。摩西就宰殺公牛，取了血，用指頭抹祭壇四角的周圍，潔淨祭壇，其餘的血倒在祭壇腳那裡，使祭壇成聖，為壇贖罪。

然後祭司要用血抹會幕裡耶和華面前的香壇的四角；至於其餘的牛血，都要倒在會幕門口的燔祭壇腳那裡。
