現在你們要為自己取七頭公牛、七隻公羊，到我的僕人約伯那裡去，為你們獻上燔祭，我的僕人約伯就替你們禱告；我悅納他的禱告，就不按照你們的愚昧待你們。你們講論我，不如我的僕人約伯說的對。”

巴蘭對巴勒說：“你要在這裡給我築七座祭壇，也要為我預備七頭公牛和七隻公綿羊。”

神使那無罪的替我們成為有罪的，使我們在他裡面成為神的義。

“如果你們作錯了事，沒有守耶和華吩咐摩西的這一切命令，就是耶和華藉摩西吩咐你們的一切事，從耶和華吩咐的那一天起，直到你們的世世代代；如果有無心之失，是會眾不知道的，全體會眾就要把一頭公牛犢作燔祭，作為獻給耶和華馨香的祭，並且照著規章把素祭和奠祭一同獻上，又獻一隻公山羊作贖罪祭。

神幫助了那些抬耶和華約櫃的利未人，他們就獻上七頭公牛和七隻公綿羊。

這節期的七天，每天他都要為耶和華預備無殘疾的公牛七頭和公綿羊七隻作燔祭；他每天又要預備公山羊一隻作贖罪祭。
