My sons, don’t fail to obey the Lord. He has chosen you to stand in front of him and work for him. He wants you to serve him and burn incense to him.”

My sons, do not now be negligent, for the Lord has chosen you to stand in his presence, to minister to him and to be his ministers and make offerings to him.”

My sons, do not neglect your duties any longer! The Lord has chosen you to stand in his presence, to minister to him, and to lead the people in worship and present offerings to him.”

不要自欺；上帝是輕慢不得的，因為人種的是甚麼，收的也是甚麼。順着肉體撒種的，必從肉體收敗壞；順着聖靈撒種的，必從聖靈收永生。

那時，耶和華將利未支派分別出來，抬耶和華的約櫃，又侍立在耶和華面前事奉他，奉他的名祝福，直到今日。

「你要帶利未支派近前來，站在亞倫祭司面前伺候他。他們要替他，又替全會眾，在會幕前執行任務，辦理帳幕的事。他們要看守會幕一切的器具，為以色列人執行任務，辦理帳幕的事。你要把利未人給亞倫和他的兒子；他們是從以色列人中選出來完全給他的。

你也要帶你弟兄利未人，就是你父系支派的人前來，與你聯合，服事你。你和你的兒子要一起在法櫃的帳幕前；他們要遵守你的吩咐，負責看守整個帳幕，只是不可挨近聖所的器具和祭壇，免得他們和你們都死亡。他們要與你聯合，負責看守會幕和帳幕一切的事；只是外人不可挨近你們。你們要負責看守聖所和祭壇，免得憤怒再臨到以色列人。看哪，我已從以色列人中選了你們的弟兄利未人，交給你們為賞賜，歸給耶和華，為要在會幕裏事奉。你和你的兒子要謹守祭司的職分，負責一切關於祭壇和幔子內的事。我把祭司的職分賜給你們，作為賞賜好事奉我；凡挨近的外人必被處死。」

有火從耶和華那裏出來，吞滅了那上香的二百五十人。耶和華吩咐摩西說：「你要對亞倫祭司的兒子以利亞撒說，把香爐從火中移開，再把炭火撒在別處，因為這些香爐是分別為聖的。要把那些犯罪自喪己命之人的香爐錘成薄片，用以包祭壇；因為這些本是他們在耶和華面前獻過，分別為聖的，可以給以色列人作記號。」於是以利亞撒祭司把被燒死的人所獻的銅香爐拿來；它們被錘出來，用以包壇，給以色列人作紀念，為要叫亞倫子孫之外的人不得近前來，在耶和華面前燒香，免得他和可拉與同他一夥的人一樣，正如耶和華藉摩西所吩咐的。

「你要從以色列人中選出利未人來，潔淨他們。你要這樣做來潔淨他們：要用潔淨的水彈在他們身上，又叫他們用剃刀剃刮全身，洗淨衣服，潔淨自己。然後他們要取一頭公牛犢，以及同獻的素祭，就是調油的細麵。你要另取一頭公牛犢作贖罪祭。你要帶利未人到會幕前，並且要召集以色列全會眾。你要把利未人帶到耶和華面前，以色列人要為利未人按手。亞倫要從以色列人中將利未人奉獻在耶和華面前，作為搖祭，使他們事奉耶和華。利未人要按手在那兩頭牛的頭上；你要將一頭作贖罪祭，一頭作燔祭，獻給耶和華，為利未人贖罪。你也要使利未人站在亞倫和他兒子面前，將他們奉獻給耶和華，作為搖祭。「你從以色列人中將利未人分別出來，利未人就歸我了。
