My sons, don’t fail to obey the Lord. He has chosen you to stand in front of him and work for him. He wants you to serve him and burn incense to him.”

My sons, do not neglect your duties any longer! The Lord has chosen you to stand in his presence, to minister to him, and to lead the people in worship and present offerings to him.”

不要自欺，神是輕慢不得的。人種的是甚麼，收的也是甚麼。順着情慾撒種的，必從情慾收敗壞；順着聖靈撒種的，必從聖靈收永生。

那時，耶和華將利未支派分別出來，擡耶和華的約櫃，又侍立在耶和華面前事奉他，奉他的名祝福，直到今日。

「你使利未支派近前來，站在祭司亞倫面前好服事他，替他和會眾在會幕前守所吩咐的，辦理帳幕的事。又要看守會幕的器具，並守所吩咐以色列人的，辦理帳幕的事。你要將利未人給亞倫和他的兒子，因為他們是從以色列人中選出來給他的。

你要帶你弟兄利未人，就是你祖宗支派的人前來，使他們與你聯合，服事你，只是你和你的兒子，要一同在法櫃的帳幕前供職。他們要守所吩咐你的，並守全帳幕，只是不可挨近聖所的器具和壇，免得他們和你們都死亡。他們要與你聯合，也要看守會幕，辦理帳幕一切的事，只是外人不可挨近你們。你們要看守聖所和壇，免得忿怒再臨到以色列人。我已將你們的弟兄利未人從以色列人中揀選出來歸耶和華，是給你們為賞賜的，為要辦理會幕的事。你和你的兒子要為一切屬壇和幔子內的事一同守祭司的職任。你們要這樣供職；我將祭司的職任給你們當作賞賜事奉我。凡挨近的外人必被治死。」

又有火從耶和華那裏出來，燒滅了那獻香的二百五十個人。耶和華曉諭摩西說：「你吩咐祭司亞倫的兒子以利亞撒從火中撿起那些香爐來，把火撒在別處，因為那些香爐是聖的。把那些犯罪、自害己命之人的香爐，叫人錘成片子，用以包壇。那些香爐本是他們在耶和華面前獻過的，所以是聖的，並且可以給以色列人作記號。」於是祭司以利亞撒將被燒之人所獻的銅香爐拿來，人就錘出來，用以包壇，給以色列人作紀念，使亞倫後裔之外的人不得近前來在耶和華面前燒香，免得他遭可拉和他一黨所遭的。這乃是照耶和華藉着摩西所吩咐的。

「你從以色列人中選出利未人來，潔淨他們。潔淨他們當這樣行：用除罪水彈在他們身上，又叫他們用剃頭刀刮全身，洗衣服，潔淨自己。然後叫他們取一隻公牛犢，並同獻的素祭，就是調油的細麵；你要另取一隻公牛犢作贖罪祭。將利未人奉到會幕前，招聚以色列全會眾。將利未人奉到耶和華面前，以色列人要按手在他們頭上。亞倫也將他們奉到耶和華面前，為以色列人當作搖祭，使他們好辦耶和華的事。利未人要按手在那兩隻牛的頭上；你要將一隻作贖罪祭，一隻作燔祭，獻給耶和華，為利未人贖罪。你也要使利未人站在亞倫和他兒子面前，將他們當作搖祭奉給耶和華。「這樣，你從以色列人中將利未人分別出來，利未人便要歸我。
