你們要燒毀他們的神像，不可貪圖神像上的金銀，不可將那些金銀據為己有，免得你們因此陷入網羅；因為那是你們的上帝耶和華所憎惡的。

他們無人思想，無人明白，無人醒悟說：「我用一半木頭當柴烤餅、烤肉吃，我豈能用另一半木頭造可憎的神像？我豈能向一塊木頭叩拜？」

大衛和他的軍隊帶走了非利士人所丟棄的神像。
