王召了大祭司耶何耶大来，对他说：“从前耶和华的仆人摩西，为法柜的帐幕与以色列会众所定的捐项，你为何不叫利未人照这例从犹大和耶路撒冷带来作殿的费用呢？”（

王召了耶何耶大祭司长来，对他说：“从前耶和华的仆人摩西，为法柜的帐幕与以色列会众所定的捐献，你为何不叫利未人照这例向犹大和耶路撒冷征收呢？”

王召了耶何耶大祭司长来，对他说：“从前耶和华的仆人摩西，为法柜的帐幕与以色列会众所定的捐献，你为何不叫利未人照这例向犹大和耶路撒冷征收呢？”

王就召来耶何耶大大祭司，问他：“你为什么不吩咐利未人到耶路撒冷和犹大去收税呢？这税是耶和华的仆人摩西和以色列的会众定的，以备圣幕之用。”

于是王把大祭司耶何耶大召来，对他说：“你为什么不命令利未人把耶和华的仆人摩西和以色列的会众，为法柜的会幕规定的税款，从犹大和耶路撒冷征收回来，作修殿的费用呢？”

王召了大祭司耶何耶大來，對他說：「從前耶和華的僕人摩西，為法櫃的帳幕與以色列會眾所定的捐項，你為何不叫利未人照這例從猶大和耶路撒冷帶來作殿的費用呢？」（

王就召來耶何耶大大祭司，問他：「你為什麼不吩咐利未人到耶路撒冷和猶大去收稅呢？這稅是耶和華的僕人摩西和以色列的會眾定的，以備聖幕之用。」

於是王把大祭司耶何耶大召來，對他說：“你為甚麼不命令利未人把耶和華的僕人摩西和以色列的會眾，為法櫃的會幕規定的稅款，從猶大和耶路撒冷徵收回來，作修殿的費用呢？”

於是王把祭司長耶何耶大召了來，對他說：『你為甚麼不勅令利未人照永恆主僕人摩西為法櫃的會棚對以色列大眾所徵定的捐項從猶大和耶路撒冷帶來作修殿的費用呢？』

王召祭司長耶何耶大、謂之曰、曷不使利未人、由猶大及耶路撒冷、循耶和華僕摩西與以色列會眾所定、徵其稅金、為法幕所用、

王召祭司長耶何耶大告之曰、昔耶和華僕摩西、使以色列族、為法幕之用獻金、曷不使利未人、取猶大族、耶路撒冷民、所獻之金、以循此例。

王召祭司長耶何耶大謂之曰、昔主之僕摩西命以色列會眾、為法幕獻銀、何不使利未人將猶大人及耶路撒冷民、循此例所捐之銀攜之至、

Therefore the king summoned Jehoiada the chief priest and said to him,“ Why haven’t you required the Levites to bring in from Judah and Jerusalem the tax imposed by Moses the servant of the Lord and by the assembly of Israel for the tent of the covenant law?”

So the king sent for Jehoiada the chief priest. He said to him,“ Why haven’t you required the Levites to bring in the tax from Judah and Jerusalem? It was set up by the Lord’ s servant Moses and the whole community of Israel. It was used for the tent where the tablets of the covenant law were kept.”

So the king summoned Jehoiada the chief and said to him,“ Why have you not required the Levites to bring in from Judah and Jerusalem the tax levied by Moses, the servant of the Lord, and the congregation of Israel for the tent of testimony?”

So the king called for Jehoiada the high priest and asked him,“ Why haven’t you demanded that the Levites go out and collect the Temple taxes from the towns of Judah and from Jerusalem? Moses, the servant of the Lord, levied this tax on the community of Israel in order to maintain the Tabernacle of the Covenant.”

So the king called Jehoiada the high priest and said,“ Why haven’t you required the Levites to bring from Judah and Jerusalem the tax imposed by the LORD’s servant Moses and the assembly of Israel for the tent of the testimony?

So the king summoned Jehoiada, the chief priest, and said to him,“ Why have you not required the Levites to bring in from Judah and from Jerusalem the contribution of Moses, the servant of the Lord, and the congregation of Israel, for the tent of the testimony?”

So the king called Jehoiada the chief priest, and said to him,“ Why have you not required the Levites to bring in from Judah and from Jerusalem the collection, according to the commandment of Moses the servant of the Lord and of the assembly of Israel, for the tabernacle of witness?”

And the king called for Jehoiada the chief, and said unto him, Why hast thou not required of the Levites to bring in out of Judah and out of Jerusalem the tax of Moses the servant of Jehovah, and of the assembly of Israel, for the tent of the testimony?

So the king called Jehoiada the high priest and said,“ Why haven’t you required the Levites to bring from Judah and Jerusalem the tax imposed by the Lord’s servant Moses and the assembly of Israel for the tent of the testimony?

And the king called for Jehoiada the chief, and said unto him, Why hast thou not required of the Levites to bring in out of Judah and out of Jerusalem the collection,[ according to the commandment] of Moses the servant of the LORD, and of the congregation of Israel, for the tabernacle of witness?

So the king summoned Jehoiada the chief priest, and said to him,“ Why have you not made the Levites collect from Judah and Jerusalem the tax authorized by Moses the LORD’s servant and by the assembly of Israel at the tent containing the tablets of the law?”

The king called for Jehoiada the chief, and said to him,“ Why haven’t you required of the Levites to bring in the tax of Moses the servant of Yahweh, and of the assembly of Israel, out of Judah and out of Jerusalem, for the Tent of the Testimony?”

“你要按以色列人被数的，计算总数，你数的时候，他们各人要为自己的生命把赎价奉给耶和华，免得数的时候在他们中间有灾殃。凡过去归那些被数之人的，每人要按圣所的平，拿银子半舍客勒；这半舍客勒是奉给耶和华的礼物（一舍客勒是二十季拉）。凡过去归那些被数的人，从二十岁以外的，要将这礼物奉给耶和华。他们为赎生命将礼物奉给耶和华，富足的不可多出，贫穷的也不可少出，各人要出半舍客勒。你要从以色列人收这赎罪银，作为会幕的使用，可以在耶和华面前为以色列人作纪念，赎生命。”

只要派利未人管法柜的帐幕和其中的器具，并属乎帐幕的；他们要抬帐幕和其中的器具，并要办理帐幕的事，在帐幕的四围安营。

摩西就把杖存在法柜的帐幕内，在耶和华面前。第二天，摩西进法柜的帐幕去。谁知利未族亚伦的杖已经发了芽，生了花苞，开了花，结了熟杏。

“我们的祖宗在旷野，有法柜的帐幕，是神吩咐摩西叫他照所看见的样式做的。

你要带你弟兄利未人，就是你祖宗支派的人前来，使他们与你联合，服侍你，只是你和你的儿子，要一同在法柜的帐幕前供职。

约押对王说：“无论百姓多少，愿耶和华你的神再加增百倍，使我主我王亲眼得见。我主我王何必喜悦行这事呢？”
