耶和華昔與大闢約、俾歷代有光、故大闢之家不殲滅。

爾逝世之期既至、得與祖父同墓、我將以爾所出之苗裔、使繼爾位、鞏固其國、

昔耶和華有應許、若我子孫所為謹恪、一心一意行於其前、真實毋妄、則不絶我嗣、踐以色列國位。如爾恪守斯命、則其前言必不食也。

耶何耶大在耶和華及王與民間立約、使民奉事耶和華、又在王與民間立約。

我必鞏固爾國、昔我許爾父大闢、不絕其嗣、以繼以色列國位、今必踐其前言。

必昌熾爾後、綿長爾祚、永世弗替。

皆族中最著者、其同宗苗裔計九百五十六人、祭司中有耶太亞、耶何耶立、雅斤。理上帝殿者、亞希突耳孫、米喇約玄孫、撒督曾孫。米書闌孫、希勒家子亞薩哩亞。亦有馬其亞曾孫、巴述孫、耶羅罕子亞大雅。及音麥耳孫、米實利密玄孫、米書闌曾孫、耶西拉孫、亞鐵子馬西哀皆族中最著者、其同宗能供役事於上帝之殿、凡一千七百六十人。利未支派中、有米喇哩族、哈沙庇曾孫、押利甘孫、哈述子示罵雅。亦有八八甲、希勒、加拉、及亞薩曾孫、色哩孫、米迦子馬大尼。耶土頓曾孫、加拉孫、示罵雅子阿巴底。以利迦拿孫、亞撒子比哩家、皆居於尼陀法人之鄉里。司閽之長沙龍、亦有亞谷、達門、亞希慢、及其同宗。昔此人守王東門、今在利未族班列中為閽。可喇曾孫、以庇撒孫、可利子沙龍、及其同宗可喇族、轄供役事、在殿門為閽、其祖守耶和華營門。昔以利亞撒子非尼哈、統轄斯眾、耶和華祐之。米示利米子撒加利亞、為會幕之閽、眾之被簡為閽者、二百十二人、循其譜系鄉里而計之、即大闢及先見者撒母耳所立、因其敏捷故也。彼與子孫、循其班列、在耶和華殿及會幕為閽。閽人立於東西南北四方、在鄉里之同宗、歷七日、更迭而至。利未族中、為閽長者四人、因其敏捷、使守上帝室、及諸府庫。每值清晨、當啟上帝殿、供其役事、故舍於室之四周。
