Then Jehoiada placed the oversight of the temple of the Lord in the hands of the Levitical priests, to whom David had made assignments in the temple, to present the burnt offerings of the Lord as written in the Law of Moses, with rejoicing and singing, as David had ordered.

Then Jehoiada put the priests, who were Levites, in charge of the Lord’ s temple. David had given them their duties in the temple. He had appointed them to sacrifice burnt offerings to the Lord. He wanted them to do it in keeping with what was written in the Law of Moses. David wanted them to sing and be full of joy.

And Jehoiada posted watchmen for the house of the Lord under the direction of the Levitical priests and the Levites whom David had organized to be in charge of the house of the Lord, to offer burnt offerings to the Lord, as it is written in the Law of Moses, with rejoicing and with singing, according to the order of David.

Jehoiada now put the priests and Levites in charge of the Temple of the Lord, following all the directions given by David. He also commanded them to present burnt offerings to the Lord, as prescribed by the Law of Moses, and to sing and rejoice as David had instructed.

Then Jehoiada put the oversight of the LORD’s temple into the hands of the Levitical priests, whom David had appointed over the LORD’s temple, to offer burnt offerings to the LORD as it is written in the law of Moses, with rejoicing and song ordained by David.

Moreover, Jehoiada placed the offices of the house of the Lord under the authority of the Levitical priests, whom David had assigned over the house of the Lord, to offer the burnt offerings of the Lord, as it is written in the Law of Moses— with rejoicing and singing according to the order of David.

Jehoiada then assigned the duties of the LORD’s temple to the priests, the Levites whom David had assigned to the LORD’s temple. They were responsible for offering burnt sacrifices to the LORD with joy and music, according to the law of Moses and the edict of David.

Jehoiada appointed the officers of Yahweh’s house under the hand of the Levitical priests, whom David had distributed in Yahweh’s house, to offer the burnt offerings of Yahweh, as it is written in the law of Moses, with rejoicing and with singing, as David had ordered.

命侍亞倫子孫之側、以服其役、在耶和華殿、供其役事、亦在院與室、滌諸聖物、竣上帝殿之工、理陳設之餅麵為禮物、及無酵之餅、或以鼎煎熬、或以釜烹煮、亦理權量法度、朝夕侍耶和華前、尊榮頌讚其名、安息日、月朔、節期、獻燔祭、常例宜遵、物數有定、奉事耶和華、永世勿替、

耶和華諭摩西曰、告以色列族、循期必獻燔祭、奉馨香以享我。更當告之、所獻我之燔祭、即未盈歲之羔二、純潔是務、日為燔祭、朝一暮一、又獻麵六升、和清油二斤有半、為禮物。我昔在西乃山、曾命恆獻燔祭、取其馨香、以奉於我者即此。為所獻之羔、必取醇醪二斤有半、灌奠於聖所、以奉事我。薄暮獻羔、其所奉禮物、酒以灌奠、循其清晨之例、爇之以火、取其馨香、以奉事我。值安息日、必獻未盈歲之羔二、純潔是務、和油之麵一斗二升為禮物、酒以灌奠、日所獻祭灌酒而外、必於安息日獻燔祭。○月朔、必以燔祭獻我、牡犢二、牡綿羊一、未盈歲之羔七、純潔是務、為牡犢獻和油之麵一斗八升、為牡綿羊獻一斗二升、為各羔獻六升、以為禮物、爇之以火取其馨香、而奉事我。為牡犢獻酒五斤、為牡綿羊獻三斤四兩、為各羔獻二斤有半、以為灌奠、每歲月朔、所當獻者、即此。日所獻祭灌酒而外、亦以山羊羔一、獻之於我、為贖罪祭。正月十四日、為踰越節期、以奉事我、是月之望、必守此禮、歷至七日、當食無酵餅、節之首日、必有聖會、咸止工作、取牡犢二、牡綿羊一、未盈歲之羔七、純潔是務、俱獻於我、以為燔祭、為牡犢獻和油之麵一斗八升、為牡綿羊獻一斗二升。為各羔獻六升以為禮物、更獻山羊一、為贖罪祭。上所獻者、乃在日獻燔祭之外。日所獻祭、灌酒而外、七日中每日當獻燔祭、取其馨香以享我。越至七日、必有聖會、咸止工作。○七七日後、獻我以初實、亦奉禮物以薦新、其時必有聖會、咸止工作、必以牡犢二、牡綿羊一、未盈歲之羔七、獻為燔祭、取其馨香、以奉事我。為牡犢獻和油之麵一斗八升、為牡綿羊獻一斗二升、為各羔獻六升、以為禮物。更獻山羊之羔、以贖爾罪、俱潔是務、及灌奠之酒、上所獻者、即在日所恆獻燔祭禮物之外。

大闢年邁、使子所羅門為王、治以色列族、召群臣祭司利未人咸至。利未人自三十歲以上者、則錄於册、計三萬八千人、其中二萬四千掌建耶和華殿、六千督工師理民人、四千為閽者、四千用大闢所作樂器、頌讚耶和華。大闢分利未人為班列、即革順、哥轄、米喇哩、革順家有拉但、示每、拉但生三子、孟耶葉、仲西擔、季約耳、為拉但族中最著者、示每生三子、示羅黑、哈泄、合蘭、
