so he returned to Jezreel to recover from the wounds they had inflicted on him at Ramoth in his battle with Hazael king of Aram. Then Ahaziah son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to Jezreel to see Joram son of Ahab because he had been wounded.

So he returned to Jezreel to give his wounds time to heal. His enemies had wounded him at Ramoth in his battle against Hazael, the king of Aram. Ahaziah, the son of Jehoram, went down to Jezreel. He went there to see Joram. That’s because Joram had been wounded. Ahaziah was king of Judah. Joram was the son of Ahab.

and he returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds that he had received at Ramah, when he fought against Hazael king of Syria. And Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Joram the son of Ahab in Jezreel, because he was wounded.

He returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which they had given him at Ramah, when he fought against Hazael king of Syria. Azariah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Jehoram the son of Ahab in Jezreel, because he was sick.

但后来约兰王回到耶斯列去治伤，就是他与亚兰王哈薛作战时，亚兰人击伤他的。耶户说：“你们若是同意，就不要让人逃出这城到耶斯列去报信。”

他遇见了犹大王亚哈谢的兄弟们。他说：“你们是谁？”他们说：“我们是亚哈谢的兄弟。我们下来要向王的众子和太后的众子请安。”他说：“活捉他们！”他的手下就活捉了他们，在伯艾吉的坑边杀了他们；一共是四十二个人，没有留下一人。

他们上来攻打犹大，侵入境内，掠去了王宫的一切财物，又掳去了他的众子和妻妾；除了他最小的儿子约哈斯以外，没有给他留下一个儿子。

约兰于是回去，到耶斯列治伤，就是当他攻打亚兰王哈薛时，亚兰人在拉末击伤他的。犹大王约兰的儿子亚哈谢因为亚哈的儿子约兰病了，所以下到耶斯列去探望他。

耶路撒冷的居民立了约兰的小儿子亚哈谢接续他作王；因为那些和阿拉伯人同来攻营的匪徒，把亚哈谢的哥哥全都杀了。这样，犹大王约兰的儿子亚哈谢就作了王。

亚哈谢去见约兰，就遇了害，这原是出于神；因为他去到以后，就和约兰一同出去攻击宁示的孙子耶户。这耶户就是耶和华所膏的，为要除灭亚哈家。
