He followed the ways of the kings of Israel, as the house of Ahab had done, for he married a daughter of Ahab. He did evil in the eyes of the Lord.

He followed the ways of the kings of Israel, just as the royal family of Ahab had done. In fact, he married a daughter of Ahab. Jehoram did what was evil in the eyes of the Lord.

And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, as the house of Ahab had done, for the daughter of Ahab was his wife. And he did what was evil in the sight of the Lord.

But Jehoram followed the example of the kings of Israel and was as wicked as King Ahab, for he had married one of Ahab’s daughters. So Jehoram did what was evil in the Lord’s sight.

He walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, as the house of Ahab had done, for Ahab’s daughter was his wife. He did what was evil in the LORD’s sight,

暗利行惡於主前、較前之諸王尤甚、昔尼八子耶羅波安犯罪、使以色列人陷於罪、暗利從其所為、犯其所犯之罪、崇拜虛無之神、干犯主以色列天主之怒、暗利其餘之事、凡其所行、及其所顯之勇力、俱載於以色列列王記、暗利與列祖同寢、葬於撒瑪利亞、子亞哈繼之為王、○猶大王亞撒三十八年、暗利子亞哈即位為以色列王、都撒瑪利亞、在位二十二年、暗利子亞哈行惡於主前、較前之諸王尤甚、從尼八子耶羅波安之罪、尚為細事、更娶西頓王謁謁巴力女耶洗別為后、服事崇拜巴力、在撒瑪利亞建巴力殿、殿中為巴力建壇、亞哈亦作亞舍拉、亞舍拉或作木偶亞哈所行、干主以色列天主之怒、較前之以色列諸王尤甚、

我斥責之、咒詛之、撻其數人、拔其髮、使之指天主而誓、必不以女嫁異邦人、不娶其女為妻、為媳、謂之曰、昔以色列王所羅門、亦因斯事犯罪、在列國中、無王可比、為其天主所愛、天主立之為以色列王、然異邦之女、誘之獲罪、
