He followed the ways of the kings of Israel, as the house of Ahab had done, for he married a daughter of Ahab. He did evil in the eyes of the Lord.

He followed the ways of the kings of Israel, just as the royal family of Ahab had done. In fact, he married a daughter of Ahab. Jehoram did what was evil in the eyes of the Lord.

And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, as the house of Ahab had done, for the daughter of Ahab was his wife. And he did what was evil in the sight of the Lord.

But Jehoram followed the example of the kings of Israel and was as wicked as King Ahab, for he had married one of Ahab’s daughters. So Jehoram did what was evil in the Lord’s sight.

约沙法大有尊荣资财，就与亚哈结亲。

暗利行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，比他以前的列王作恶更甚。因他行了尼八的儿子耶罗波安所行的，犯他使以色列人陷在罪里的那罪，以虚无的神惹耶和华以色列神的怒气。暗利其余的事和他所显出的勇力都写在以色列诸王记上。暗利与他列祖同睡，葬在撒玛利亚。他儿子亚哈接续他作王。犹大王亚撒三十八年，暗利的儿子亚哈登基作了以色列王。暗利的儿子亚哈在撒玛利亚作以色列王二十二年。暗利的儿子亚哈行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，比他以前的列王更甚，犯了尼八的儿子耶罗波安所犯的罪；他还以为轻，又娶了西顿王谒巴力的女儿耶洗别为妻，去侍奉敬拜巴力，在撒玛利亚建造巴力的庙，在庙里为巴力筑坛。亚哈又做亚舍拉，他所行的惹耶和华以色列神的怒气，比他以前的以色列诸王更甚。

我就斥责他们，咒诅他们，打了他们几个人，拔下他们的头发，叫他们指着神起誓，必不将自己的女儿嫁给外邦人的儿子，也不为自己和儿子娶他们的女儿。我又说：“以色列王所罗门不是在这样的事上犯罪吗？在多国中并没有一王像他，且蒙他神所爱，神立他作以色列全国的王；然而连他也被外邦女子引诱犯罪。
