亚哈斯和他的列祖同睡，埋葬在耶路撒冷城里，但没有葬在以色列诸王的陵墓里。他的儿子希西家接续他作王。

因为犹大王亚哈斯在犹大放纵邪恶，大大地冒犯了耶和华，所以耶和华使犹大卑微。

他向击败了他的大马士革的神献祭，说：“亚兰王的神帮助了他们，我也向它们献祭，使它们也帮助我。”它们却使他和以色列人灭亡。

他和列王一同埋葬在大卫城里，因为他在以色列为神和神的殿作了美善的事。

约兰一登上了他父亲的王位，巩固了自己的权势以后，就用刀杀了他所有的兄弟和犹大的一些领袖。

玛拿西其余的事迹，包括他对他的神的祷告，和那些先见奉耶和华以色列的神的名向他所说的话，都记在以色列诸王记上。

自从撒母耳先知的日子以来，在以色列中没有守过像这样的逾越节；以色列诸王也都没有守过这样的逾越节，像约西亚、祭司、利未人、犹大众人和在场的以色列人，以及耶路撒冷的居民守的。
