乃相語曰、我所為者未善、今日獲茲嘉音、而我不報、如俟日出、必遭其災、盍返告王、既至、呼閽者曰、我至亞蘭人之營、不見一人、不聞一聲、惟馬驢繫焉、營幕如故。閽者告於王宮、未及黎明、王夙興、謂厥臣工曰、亞蘭人所為、我指示爾。彼知我饑、故出營、匿於田、待我出城、則生擒、而襲我邑。一臣對曰、我以色列族中、人馬殆盡、邑中惟遺五馬、可取之、遣人往觀。故取服車之馬二、王遣人跡亞蘭軍之後、曰、往觀之哉。跡之至約但、見衣服器皿、遍遺衢路、乃亞蘭人疾趨而棄者。使者反告於王。民遂出、刧亞蘭人之幕、於是麥粉三斗值金半兩、麰麥六斗值金半兩、循耶和華命。○

所虜者、無論貴賤、子女、以及貨財、大闢盡得之、不失其一。亦奪敵之牛羊、驅於群畜前、曰、此大闢所得也。

諸婦必向鄰女、與旅於其家者、乞金銀服飾、飾其子女、如是使埃及人之物、歸乎爾已。

曰、奚拯眾婦、存其生乎。

三軍之帥、望風逃遁、居家之婦、亦分所得兮、

貴於琅玕、凡所慕者、無能比儗。
