See how they are repaying us by coming to drive us out of the possession you gave us as an inheritance.

See how they are paying us back. They are coming to drive us out. They want to take over the land you gave us as our share.

behold, they reward us by coming to drive us out of your possession, which you have given us to inherit.

他們用詭計害你的子民，他們一起謀害你所疼愛的人。他們說：「來吧，讓我們剷除以色列，讓他們亡國，被人遺忘。」他們串通一氣，勾結起來抵擋你。他們是以東人、以實瑪利人、摩押人、夏甲人、迦巴勒人、亞捫人、亞瑪力人、非利士人和泰爾人。亞述也跟他們勾結，要助羅得的後代一臂之力。（細拉）求你對付他們，如同對付米甸人和基順河邊的西西拉與耶賓。他們在隱·多珥滅亡，成了地上的糞土。求你使他們的首領得到俄立和西伊伯那樣的下場，使他們的王侯得到西巴和撒慕拿那樣的下場。他們曾說：「讓我們奪取上帝的草場吧。」

他們出城不久，約瑟對管家說：「你快去追他們，追上了就對他們說，『你們為什麼以惡報善？

倘若我恩將仇報，無故搶奪仇敵，

他們對我以惡報善，令我傷心欲絕。

人若以惡報善，家裡必禍患不斷。

既然是以色列的上帝耶和華為祂的以色列子民趕走了亞摩利人，你憑什麼要奪取這塊土地？你擁有你們的神明基抹給你們的土地，我們也要擁有我們的上帝耶和華賜給我們的土地。

人豈能以惡報善？他們竟設陷阱謀害我，求你回想我怎樣站在你面前為他們求情，怎樣求你不要向他們發烈怒。
