王命之曰、爾當寅畏耶和華、專心誠實行此、

告之曰、當夤畏耶和華、盡乃心、真實無妄、

He gave them these orders:“ You must serve faithfully and wholeheartedly in the fear of the Lord.

Here are the orders Jehoshaphat gave them. He said,“ Have respect for the Lord. Serve him faithfully. Do it with all your heart.

And he charged them:“ Thus you shall do in the fear of the Lord, in faithfulness, and with your whole heart:

These were his instructions to them:“ You must always act in the fear of the Lord, with faithfulness and an undivided heart.

He commanded them, saying,“ In the fear of the LORD, with integrity, and wholeheartedly, you are to do the following:

Then he commanded them, saying,“ This is what you shall do in the fear of the Lord, faithfully and wholeheartedly.

And he commanded them, saying,“ Thus you shall act in the fear of the Lord, faithfully and with a loyal heart:

And he charged them, saying, Thus shall ye do in the fear of Jehovah, faithfully, and with a perfect heart.

He commanded them, saying,“ In the fear of the Lord, with integrity, and with a whole heart, you are to do the following:

He commanded them:“ Carry out your duties with respect for the LORD, with honesty, and with pure motives.

以色列天主有言、以色列所恃之天主、原文作以色列之磐諭我曰、為人君者若義、秉權者若畏天主、

將有一王以義治國、將有侯伯秉公平以行權、

當時我命爾士師曰、爾聽訟於同族人間、或於同族人與外邦客旅間、當以公義判斷、審鞫之時、勿以貌取人、聽訟勿分尊卑、不可畏人、蓋審鞫之事屬天主、如爾有難斷之事、則呈於我、而我聽之、

當敬畏主、慎爾所為、凡不公義、偏視人、受賄賂之事、皆主我之天主所不容、

以敬畏主為悅、行審鞫不待目見、行判斷不待耳聞、必秉公義審鞫貧民、循正直判斷世之謙虛人、世之謙虛人或作國中窮乏人以口中之言責世、若擊之以杖、以詞氣殺滅惡人、以公義為繫腰之紳、以誠信為束身之帶、
