In every case that comes before you from your people who live in the cities— whether bloodshed or other concerns of the law, commands, decrees or regulations— you are to warn them not to sin against the Lord; otherwise his wrath will come on you and your people. Do this, and you will not sin.

Cases will come to you from your people who live in the other cities. The cases might be about murder or other matters dealt with by the law, commands, directions and rules. Warn the people not to sin against the Lord. If you don’t warn them, he will be angry with you and your people. Do what I say. Then you won’t sin.

whenever a case comes to you from your brothers who live in their cities, concerning bloodshed, law or commandment, statutes or rules, then you shall warn them, that they may not incur guilt before the Lord and wrath may not come upon you and your brothers. Thus you shall do, and you will not incur guilt.

Whenever a case comes to you from fellow citizens in an outlying town, whether a murder case or some other violation of God’s laws, commands, decrees, or regulations, you must warn them not to sin against the Lord, so that he will not be angry with you and them. Do this and you will not be guilty.

For every dispute that comes to you from your brothers who dwell in their cities— whether it regards differences of bloodguilt, law, commandment, statutes, or judgments— you are to warn them, so they will not incur guilt before the LORD and wrath will not come on you and your brothers. Whenever your countrymen who live in the cities bring a case before you( whether it involves a violent crime or other matters related to the law, commandments, rules, and regulations), warn them that they must not sin against the LORD. If you fail to do so, God will be angry with you and your colleagues; but if you obey, you will be free of guilt.

Whenever any controversy comes to you from your brothers who dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and ordinances, you must warn them, that they not be guilty toward Yahweh, and so wrath come on you and on your brothers. Do this, and you will not be guilty.

我言惡人必死、如爾不警此惡人、不以言勸戒、使彼離其惡行、以獲生命、惡人必死於罪、而其喪命之罪、我必責問於爾、而其喪命之罪我必責問於爾原文作而其血必討於爾手下同如爾警戒惡人、彼仍不悛改、不去惡事、不離惡途、則彼必死於罪、惟爾則自保生命、自保生命或作救己下同如善人離善行惡、我聽其陷罪、以致死亡、爾不戒之、必死於罪中、彼所為之善、不得記憶、而其喪命之罪、必責問於爾、如爾戒善人、勿犯罪、彼若聽戒不犯罪、必可得生、爾亦自保生命、○

先見哈拿尼子耶戶出迎約沙法王、謂之曰、王助惡人、恨主者王反愛之、豈可哉、因此主必向王震怒、

故當警醒、憶我三年之久、晝夜不息、涕泣以勸爾各人、

兄弟乎、我勸爾妄為者警之、怯思者勉之、懦弱者助之、向眾人當寛忍、

今日爾曹又離棄主乎、今日爾曹叛逆主、恐明日主怒以色列會眾、爾所得為業之地、如以為不潔、則可歸主之地、即設主幕之地、得業於我儕中、但不可在主我天主祭臺之外、別建祭臺、叛逆主、並干犯我儕、昔謝拉後裔亞干、豈非因取歸主之物獲罪、而主怒臨及以色列會眾乎、獨彼一人、反不因其罪而死、獨彼一人反不因其罪而死或作且斯人因其罪不獨一人死亡○
