然爾尚有善事在焉、即除境內之木偶、致志尋求上帝也、○

然爾於斯土毀偶像、誠心崇上帝、猶可為善。○

然王自國中除諸亞舍拉、盡心尋求天主、王此事猶可謂善、

There is, however, some good in you, for you have rid the land of the Asherah poles and have set your heart on seeking God.”

But there’s some good in you. You have removed all the poles in the land used to worship the female god named Asherah. And you have worshiped God with all your heart.”

Nevertheless, some good is found in you, for you destroyed the Asheroth out of the land, and have set your heart to seek God.”

Even so, there is some good in you, for you have removed the Asherah poles throughout the land, and you have committed yourself to seeking God.”

However, some good is found in you, for you have eradicated the Asherah poles from the land and have determined in your heart to seek God.”

But there is some good in you, for you have removed the Asheroth from the land and you have set your heart to seek God.”

Nevertheless good things are found in you, in that you have removed the wooden images from the land, and have prepared your heart to seek God.”

王谦卑下来后，耶和华便不再向他发怒，没有将他完全毁灭。况且，在犹大还有一些善事。

以斯拉定意研读、遵行耶和华的律法，并在以色列教导律例和典章。

全以色列会为他哀悼，把他埋葬。耶罗波安家人中只有他将得到安葬，因为以色列的上帝耶和华在他身上看见了良善。

罗波安行为邪恶，因为他不专心寻求耶和华。

上帝啊，我心坚定，我心坚定，我要唱诗赞美你。

我也知道，在我的罪恶本性里面毫无良善，我有行善的心愿，却没有行善的力量。

耶和华与约沙法同在，因为他效法他祖先大卫起初所行的，没有寻求巴力，只寻求他父亲的上帝，遵行祂的诫命，没有效法以色列人的行为。因此，耶和华巩固他的王位，所有的犹大人都向他进贡，他极有财富和尊荣。他专心遵行耶和华的道，铲除犹大境内的丘坛和亚舍拉神像。
