In every case that comes before you from your people who live in the cities— whether bloodshed or other concerns of the law, commands, decrees or regulations— you are to warn them not to sin against the Lord; otherwise his wrath will come on you and your people. Do this, and you will not sin.

Cases will come to you from your people who live in the other cities. The cases might be about murder or other matters dealt with by the law, commands, directions and rules. Warn the people not to sin against the Lord. If you don’t warn them, he will be angry with you and your people. Do what I say. Then you won’t sin.

whenever a case comes to you from your brothers who live in their cities, concerning bloodshed, law or commandment, statutes or rules, then you shall warn them, that they may not incur guilt before the Lord and wrath may not come upon you and your brothers. Thus you shall do, and you will not incur guilt.

Whenever a case comes to you from fellow citizens in an outlying town, whether a murder case or some other violation of God’s laws, commands, decrees, or regulations, you must warn them not to sin against the Lord, so that he will not be angry with you and them. Do this and you will not be guilty.

For every dispute that comes to you from your brothers who dwell in their cities— whether it regards differences of bloodguilt, law, commandment, statutes, or judgments— you are to warn them, so they will not incur guilt before the LORD and wrath will not come on you and your brothers. Do this, and you will not incur guilt.

Whenever any dispute comes to you from your countrymen who live in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and ordinances, you shall warn them so that they will not be guilty before the Lord, and wrath will not come on you and your countrymen. This you shall do and you will not be guilty.

And whensoever any controversy shall come to you from your brethren that dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and ordinances, ye shall warn them, that they be not guilty towards Jehovah, and so wrath come upon you and upon your brethren: this do, and ye shall not be guilty.

Whenever your countrymen who live in the cities bring a case before you( whether it involves a violent crime or other matters related to the law, commandments, rules, and regulations), warn them that they must not sin against the LORD. If you fail to do so, God will be angry with you and your colleagues; but if you obey, you will be free of guilt.

Whenever any controversy comes to you from your brothers who dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and ordinances, you must warn them, that they not be guilty toward Yahweh, and so wrath come on you and on your brothers. Do this, and you will not be guilty.

“在你的城裡如果有甚麼爭訟的事：或是流血，或是訴訟，或是毆打，是你很難處決的案件，你就要起來，上到耶和華你的神選擇的地方，去見利未支派的祭司和當時的審判官，詢問他們，他們就必指示你們怎樣判斷這案件。你要照著他們從耶和華選擇的那地方，向你指示的話去行；他們指教你的，你都要謹守遵行。你要按著他們指教你的律法，和照著他們告訴你的判斷去行；他們告訴你的話，你不可偏左或偏右。如果有人擅自行事，不聽從祭司，就是侍立在那裡事奉耶和華你的神的，或是不聽從審判官，那人就必須處死；這樣，你就可以把這惡從以色列中肅清了。眾民都會聽見，而且懼怕，也不再擅自行事了。

如果我對惡人說：‘你必定死亡！’你卻不警告他，也不警戒他離開惡行，好救他的性命，這惡人就必因自己的罪孽死亡。但我要因他的死追究你。如果你警告惡人，他仍不離開他的罪惡和他的惡行，他就必因自己的罪孽死亡，你卻救了自己的性命。如果義人偏離正義，行事邪惡，我必把絆腳石放在他面前，他必定死亡；因為你沒有警告他，他必因自己的罪死亡。他素常所行的義，也必不被記念。但我要因他的死追究你。如果你警告義人不要犯罪，他就不犯罪。他因為接受警告，就必存活，你也救了自己的性命。”

摩西對亞倫說：“你要拿著香爐，把壇上的火盛在裡頭，又加上香，快快帶到會眾那裡去，為他們贖罪，因為有震怒從耶和華面前出來，瘟疫已經開始了。”

先見哈拿尼的兒子耶戶出來迎見約沙法王，對他說：“你怎能幫助惡人，喜愛那恨惡耶和華的人呢？因此耶和華的忿怒必臨到你身上。

所以你們應當警醒，記念我三年之久，晝夜不停地帶著眼淚勸戒你們各人。

弟兄們，我們勸你們，要警戒游手好閒的人，勉勵灰心喪志的人，扶助軟弱無力的人，也要容忍所有的人。

你們今日竟轉離不跟從耶和華嗎？今日你們既然背叛耶和華，明日他必向以色列全體會眾發怒了。如果你們認為所得的地業不潔淨，你們可以過到耶和華的地業，就是耶和華的帳幕居住的地方，在我們中間得地業；只是不可背叛耶和華，也不可背叛我們，在耶和華我們的神的壇以外，為自己築另一座壇。從前謝拉的曾孫亞干，不是在當毀滅的物上犯了不忠的罪，以致神的忿怒臨到以色列全體會眾嗎？因他的罪孽而死的，還不只他一人呢！’”

但是，那守望的人若見刀劍臨到，卻不吹響號角，以致人民沒有受到警告，刀劍來把他們中間的一個人除滅；那人雖然因自己的罪孽被除滅，我卻要因他的死追究守望的人。’
