有人把神言人以賽亞的書卷遞給他；他把書卷打開，找到一個地方、寫着說：『主的靈在我身上，因為他膏立了我去傳好消息給窮人，差遣了我去宣傳俘虜們可得釋放，瞎眼的可得看見，打發那受壓迫的得釋放，宣傳主接納人的年頭。』

你只要剛強，大大壯膽，謹慎遵行我僕人摩西所吩咐你的一切律法，不可偏於右、或偏於左，好使你無論往哪裏去都得亨通。「這律法」書不可離開你的口；你要晝夜沉思，好使你按照書上所寫的一切話謹慎遵行；因為這樣、你所行的路就會順利，這樣、你就會亨通。

『你的門徒為甚麼違犯古人的傳統規矩？喫飯時候不洗手呀！』耶穌回答他們說：『你們呢、你們為甚麼因了你們的傳統規矩而違犯上帝的誡命呢？上帝命令說：「要孝敬父親和母親」；又說：『誹謗父親或母親的，必須死』；你們倒說：『無論何人對父親或母親說：「你可由我得益之物、已經用做獻神禮物了」；這麼一說，他便可以不必敬奉父親或母親！那就是你們竟因了你們的傳統規矩而取消上帝的話了！假冒為善的人哪，以賽亞指着你們傳講神言，傳得不錯；他說：「這人民用嘴脣尊敬我，心卻遠離我；他們徒然敬拜我，將人的誡律當教條教訓人。」』

他又對那些歸永恆主為聖的、指導以色列眾人的利未人說：『你們要將聖櫃安放在以色列王大衛的兒子所羅門所建造的殿裏；不必再用肩膀去扛。現在你們要事奉永恆主你們的上帝，服事他的人民以色列。

耶書亞、巴尼、示利比、雅憫、亞谷、沙比太、荷第雅、瑪西雅、基利他、亞撒利雅、約撒拔、哈難、毘萊雅，這些利未人幫助人民明白律法；人民始終站着。

因為論到摩西嘛、從古代以來，在各城裏自有宣傳他的人，每安息日在會堂裏、他的書都被宣讀着。』

各方面多着呢：第一，上帝的神諭是託付了他們的。

『以色列啊，你要聽：永恆主我們的上帝是獨一無二的永恆主；你要全心、全意、全力愛永恆主你的上帝。我今日所吩咐你的這些話、你都要牢記在心：用來磨鍊你的兒女；無論你是坐在家裏，是行在路上，是躺下、是起來，都要講論。你要把這些話繫在手上做記號；這些話要在你額上做綁額帶。你要給寫在你房屋的門柱上和大門上。

你們如果信摩西，也就會信我了；因為關於我的事、他曾寫過。

他們便和保羅定了一個日子，就有許多人到寓所來、受他招待。保羅從早到晚對他們講解，透徹證明上帝之國，不但引了摩西的律法書、也引了神言人的書、將耶穌的事勸導他們相信。

你們探索經典，因為以為在其中可以得到永生；而那為我作見證的正是這些經；

以色列眾人來到永恆主你的上帝所選擇的地方朝見他，那時你要當着以色列眾人面前將這律法誦讀給他們聽。你要召集人民、男女幼小、和你城內的寄居者，叫他們聽，叫他們學習敬畏永恆主你們的上帝，謹慎遵行「這律法」的一切話，也叫他們那些未曾明曉這律法的兒女得以聽，儘你們在過約但河去取得為業的土地上活着的日子、得以學習敬畏永恆主你們的上帝。』

所以你們要去，使一切外國人都做門徒，給他們施洗，歸於父子聖靈的名，教訓他們遵守我所吩咐你們的一切事；看吧，一切日子、我都和你們同在，直到今世的完結。』

不，人應當以上帝所指教的和神言人所警告的為根據；他們若不按這標準說話，就得不到曙光。

人在這城裏逼迫你們，你們要逃到別的城。我實在告訴你們，以色列的城市、你們還沒走完，人子就到了。

律法和神言人的書宣讀了以後，會堂管事們就差遣人到他們跟前說：『同人弟兄們，你們心裏若有甚麼要向民眾勸勉的話，請說。』

若有人宣講，要做講上帝神諭的；若有人作服事的工，要本着上帝所供給的力量；叫上帝在凡事上藉着耶穌基督而得榮耀：榮耀和權能都屬於他、世世無窮。阿們。

腓利呢、卻在亞鎖都有人看見。他走遍所有的城市傳福音，直到該撒利亞。

耶穌吩咐完了他的十二門徒，就離開那裏，在他們的市鎮裏教訓人，並且宣傳。
