有人把先知以赛亚的书交给他，他就打开，找到一处写着说：“主的灵在我身上，因为他用膏膏我，叫我传福音给贫穷的人；差遣我报告：被掳的得释放，瞎眼的得看见，叫那受压制的得自由，报告神悦纳人的禧年。”

只要刚强，大大壮胆，谨守遵行我仆人摩西所吩咐你的一切律法，不可偏离左右，使你无论往哪里去，都可以顺利。这律法书不可离开你的口，总要昼夜思想，好使你谨守遵行这书上所写的一切话。如此，你的道路就可以亨通，凡事顺利。

“你的门徒为什么犯古人的遗传呢？因为吃饭的时候，他们不洗手。”耶稣回答说：“你们为什么因着你们的遗传犯神的诫命呢？神说：‘当孝敬父母’；又说：‘咒骂父母的，必治死他。’你们倒说：‘无论何人对父母说：我所当奉给你的已经作了供献，他就可以不孝敬父母。’这就是你们藉着遗传，废了神的诫命。假冒为善的人哪，以赛亚指着你们说的预言是不错的。他说：‘这百姓用嘴唇尊敬我，心却远离我；他们将人的吩咐当作道理教导人，所以拜我也是枉然。’”

又对那归耶和华为圣、教训以色列人的利未人说：“你们将圣约柜安放在以色列王大卫儿子所罗门建造的殿里，不必再用肩扛抬。现在要侍奉耶和华你们的神，服侍他的民以色列。

耶书亚、巴尼、示利比、雅悯、亚谷、沙比太、荷第雅、玛西雅、基利他、亚撒利雅、约撒拔、哈难、毗莱雅，和利未人使百姓明白律法；百姓都站在自己的地方。

因为从古以来，摩西的书在各城有人传讲，每逢安息日，在会堂里诵读。”

凡事大有好处：第一是神的圣言交托他们。

“以色列啊，你要听！耶和华我们神是独一的主。你要尽心、尽性、尽力爱耶和华你的神。我今日所吩咐你的话都要记在心上，也要殷勤教训你的儿女。无论你坐在家里，行在路上，躺下，起来，都要谈论。也要系在手上为记号，戴在额上为经文；又要写在你房屋的门框上，并你的城门上。”

你们如果信摩西，也必信我，因为他书上有指着我写的话。

他们和保罗约定了日子，就有许多人到他的寓处来。保罗从早到晚，对他们讲论这事，证明神国的道，引摩西的律法和先知的书，以耶稣的事劝勉他们。

你们查考圣经，因你们以为内中有永生；给我作见证的就是这经。

以色列众人来到耶和华你神所选择的地方朝见他。那时，你要在以色列众人面前将这律法念给他们听。要招聚他们男、女、孩子，并城里寄居的，使他们听，使他们学习，好敬畏耶和华你们的神，谨守、遵行这律法的一切话，也使他们未曾晓得这律法的儿女得以听见，学习敬畏耶和华你们的神，在你们过约旦河要得为业之地，存活的日子，常常这样行。”

所以，你们要去，使万民作我的门徒，奉父、子、圣灵的名给他们施洗。凡我所吩咐你们的，都教训他们遵守，我就常与你们同在，直到世界的末了。”

人当以训诲和法度为标准；他们所说的，若不与此相符，必不得见晨光。

有人在这城里逼迫你们，就逃到那城里去。我实在告诉你们，以色列的城邑，你们还没有走遍，人子就到了。

读完了律法和先知的书，管会堂的叫人过去，对他们说：“二位兄台，若有什么劝勉众人的话，请说。”

若有讲道的，要按着神的圣言讲；若有服侍人的，要按着神所赐的力量服侍，叫神在凡事上因耶稣基督得荣耀。原来荣耀、权能都是他的，直到永永远远。阿们！

后来有人在亚锁都遇见腓利；他走遍那地方，在各城宣传福音，直到凯撒利亚。

耶稣吩咐完了十二个门徒，就离开那里，往各城去传道、教训人。
