永恆主的眼目在全地上看來看去；凡以純全之心向他的人、他就顯大權能去幫助他。在這一點上你幹了糊塗事了！從今以後、你總有戰事了。』

蓋耶和華之目遍及天下、凡專心向之者、必顯其力以助之、爾所行者愚也、今而後爾必有戰事、

耶和華遍覽天下、見誠心從之者、則力庇焉。爾弗以之是賴、不智孰甚、嗣後戰鬥、靡有已時。

主目遍鑒天下、凡誠心向主者、主力助之、爾於此事、所行愚昧、此後爾必有戰事、

For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. You have done a foolish thing, and from now on you will be at war.”

The Lord looks out over the whole earth. He gives strength to those who commit their lives completely to him. You have done a foolish thing. From now on you will be at war.”

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him. You have done foolishly in this, for from now on you will have wars.”

The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. What a fool you have been! From now on you will be at war.”

For the eyes of the LORD roam throughout the earth to show himself strong for those who are wholeheartedly devoted to him. You have been foolish in this matter. Therefore, you will have wars from now on.”

因為主的眼看顧義人，他的耳聽他們的祈禱；但主向行惡的人變臉。」

因我的眼目察看他們一切的行為；他們不能在我面前遮掩，他們的罪孽也不能在我眼前隱藏。

耶和華的眼目無處不在，惡人善人，他都鑒察。

誰藐視這日的事為小呢？他們見所羅巴伯手拿石垂線就歡喜。這七盞燈是耶和華的眼睛，遍察全地。」

因為人所行的道都在耶和華眼前，他察驗人一切的路。

耶和華的眼目看顧義人，他的耳朵聽他們的呼求。

「上帝的眼目觀看人的道路，察看他每一腳步。

被造的，沒有一樣在他面前不是顯露的；萬物在他眼前都是赤露敞開的，我們必須向他交賬。

你謀事有大略，行事有大能，注目觀看世人一切的舉動，為要照各人所做的和他做事的結果報應他。

願你的眼目晝夜看顧這殿，就是你應許立為你名的居所；求你垂聽禱告，你僕人向此處的禱告。

自己謙卑，觀看天上地下的事。

無知的加拉太人哪，耶穌基督釘十字架，已經活現在你們眼前，誰又迷惑了你們呢？

你會對君王說：『你是卑鄙的』；對貴族說：『你們是邪惡的』嗎？他待王子不徇情面，也不看重富足的過於貧寒的，因為他們都是他手所造的。

你要細察那完全人，觀看那正直人，因為和平的人有好結局。

撒母耳對掃羅說：「你做了糊塗事了，沒有遵守耶和華－你上帝吩咐你的命令。不然，耶和華會在以色列中堅立你的國度，直到永遠。

大衛對上帝說：「我做這事大大有罪了。現在求你除掉僕人的罪孽，因為我所做的非常愚昧。」

上帝卻對他說：『無知的人哪！今夜就要你的性命，你所預備的要歸誰呢？』

亞撒和以色列王巴沙在世的日子常常交戰。

拿單對大衛說：「你就是那人！耶和華－以色列的上帝如此說：『我膏你作以色列的王，我救你脫離掃羅的手；我將你主人的家業賜給你，將你主人的妃嬪交在你懷裏，又將以色列和猶大家賜給你；若還嫌少，我也會如此這般加倍賜給你。你為甚麼藐視耶和華的命令，做他眼中看為惡的事呢？你用刀擊殺赫人烏利亞，又娶了他的妻子為妻，借亞捫人的刀殺死他。現在刀劍必永不離開你的家，因你藐視我，娶了赫人烏利亞的妻子為妻。』耶和華如此說：『看哪，我必從你家中興起災禍攻擊你；我必在你眼前把你的妃嬪賜給你身邊的人，他要在光天化日下與你的妃嬪同寢。你在暗中做那事，我卻要在以色列眾人面前，在日光之下做這事。』」

「愚昧無知的百姓啊，你們有眼不看，有耳不聽，現在當聽這話。

「耶和華啊，求你記念我在你面前怎樣存完全的心，按誠實行事，又做你眼中看為善的事。」希西家就痛哭。

無知的人哪，你所種的若不死就不能生。

但是我告訴你們：凡向弟兄動怒的，必須受審判；凡罵弟兄是廢物的，必須受議會的審判；凡罵弟兄是白痴的，必須遭受地獄的火。

只是丘壇還沒有從以色列中廢去，然而亞撒一生有純正的心。
