蓋耶和華之目遍及天下、凡專心向之者、必顯其力以助之、爾所行者愚也、今而後爾必有戰事、

耶和華遍覽天下、見誠心從之者、則力庇焉。爾弗以之是賴、不智孰甚、嗣後戰鬥、靡有已時。

主目遍鑒天下、凡誠心向主者、主力助之、爾於此事、所行愚昧、此後爾必有戰事、

For the eyes of the Lord range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. You have done a foolish thing, and from now on you will be at war.”

The Lord looks out over the whole earth. He gives strength to those who commit their lives completely to him. You have done a foolish thing. From now on you will be at war.”

For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him. You have done foolishly in this, for from now on you will have wars.”

The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. What a fool you have been! From now on you will be at war.”

For the eyes of the LORD roam throughout the earth to show himself strong for those who are wholeheartedly devoted to him. You have been foolish in this matter. Therefore, you will have wars from now on.”

因為主的眼睛看顧義人，祂的耳朵垂聽他們的祈求。但主必嚴懲作惡之人。」

因為我鑒察他們的一切行為，他們無法隱藏，他們的罪惡逃不過我的眼晴。

耶和華的眼目無所不在，善人和惡人都被祂鑒察。

誰敢藐視這微不足道的日子？人們看見所羅巴伯手中拿著線錘時，就必歡喜。「這七盞燈是耶和華遍察天下的眼睛。」

因為人的所作所為逃不過耶和華的眼目，祂必鑒察人走的一切路。

耶和華的眼睛看顧義人，祂的耳朵垂聽他們的呼求。

上帝鑒察世人的道路，觀看他們的腳步。

受造物在上帝面前都無法隱藏，因為萬物都是赤裸裸地暴露在上帝眼前，我們必須向祂交帳。

你的計劃充滿智慧，你的作為奇妙無比，你鑒察世人，按照各人的行為施行賞罰。

願你晝夜看顧這殿——你應許立你名的地方！你僕人向著這地方禱告的時候，求你垂聽。

俯視諸天和大地。

無知的加拉太人啊！誰又迷惑了你們呢？耶穌基督被釘在十字架上的事早就像一幅畫一樣展現在你們眼前了。

祂可以稱君王為廢物，稱權貴為惡徒。祂不偏袒王侯，也不輕貧重富，因為他們都是祂親手造的。

你看那純全正直、愛好和平的人，他們前途美好。

撒母耳說：「你真糊塗！你違背了你的上帝耶和華的命令。祂本來要使你的王位在以色列永遠堅立，

大衛對上帝說：「我做這事犯了大罪。求你赦免僕人的罪，我做了極其愚昧的事。」

但上帝對他說，『無知的人啊！今晚就要取走你的命！你所預備的一切留給誰享用呢？』」

亞撒和以色列王巴沙執政期間，雙方常常爭戰。

拿單對大衛說：「那人就是你！以色列的上帝耶和華這樣說，『我膏立你做以色列的王，從掃羅手中救你，將你主人的家業和妻妾交給你，把以色列和猶大的國權賜給你。倘若還不夠，我會再加倍地賜給你。你為什麼蔑視我的命令，做出我視為可憎的事呢？你藉亞捫人的刀殺了赫人烏利亞，把他的妻子據為己有。因為你藐視我，把赫人烏利亞的妻子據為己有，從今以後，殺戮流血的事必永不離開你的家。』耶和華說，『我要在你家中降下災禍，我要當著你的面把你的妻妾交給你的近臣，他必在光天化日之下與她們行淫。你在暗地裡做這惡事，我要讓這樣的惡事當著以色列人的面在光天化日之下臨到你。』」

『聽著，你們這群愚昧無知的人啊，你們視而不見，聽而不聞。

「耶和華啊，求你顧念我怎樣全心、忠誠地事奉你，做你視為善的事。」希西迦痛哭起來。

無知的人啊！你們種下的種子必須先死，然後才能生長。

但我告訴你們，凡無緣無故向弟兄發怒的，要受審判；凡罵弟兄是白癡的，要受公會的審判；凡罵弟兄是笨蛋的，難逃地獄的火。

儘管他還沒有把邱壇從以色列除去，但他一生對耶和華忠心。
