於是亞撒王通告猶大眾人，沒有一個人例外。他們就把巴沙修築拉瑪所用的石頭和木料運走；亞撒王用那些材料來修築便雅憫的迦巴和米斯巴。

他們過了隘口，在迦巴住宿；拉瑪人戰兢，掃羅的基比亞人逃跑。

他們上來攻打猶大，侵入境內，掠去了王宮的一切財物，又擄去了他的眾子和妻妾；除了他最小的兒子約哈斯以外，沒有給他留下一個兒子。

基法．阿摩尼、俄弗尼、迦巴，共十二座城，還有屬於這些城的村莊；又有基遍、拉瑪、比錄、米斯巴、基非拉、摩撒、

他每年都巡迴伯特利、吉甲和米斯巴，在這些地方治理以色列人。

又從便雅憫支派中，把迦巴和屬於迦巴的草場，阿勒篾和屬於阿勒篾的草場，亞拿突和屬於亞拿突的草場，分給亞倫的子孫。他們各族所得的城共十三座。
