以色列族見上帝耶和華眷祐亞撒、以法蓮、馬拿西、西面三族之賓旅、多歸焉。亞撒召之、亦召猶大便雅憫族眾、於十五年三月、俱至耶路撒冷。

招聚猶大便雅憫人眾、及旅其中之以法蓮人、瑪拿西人、西緬人、蓋歸降亞撒之以色列人甚眾、因見主其天主祐之、

Then he assembled all Judah and Benjamin and the people from Ephraim, Manasseh and Simeon who had settled among them, for large numbers had come over to him from Israel when they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

Then Asa gathered together all the people of Judah and Benjamin. He also gathered together the people from Ephraim, Manasseh and Simeon who were living among them. Large numbers of people had come over to him from Israel. They came because they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and those from Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who were residing with them, for great numbers had deserted to him from Israel when they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

Then Asa called together all the people of Judah and Benjamin, along with the people of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who had settled among them. For many from Israel had moved to Judah during Asa’s reign when they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

Then he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, as well as those from the tribes of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who were residing among them, for they had defected to him from Israel in great numbers when they saw that the LORD his God was with him.

And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and those from Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who resided with them, for many defected to him from Israel when they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

Then he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and those who dwelt with them from Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon, for they came over to him in great numbers from Israel when they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and them that sojourned with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for they fell to him out of Israel in abundance, when they saw that Jehovah his God was with him.

Then he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, as well as those from the tribes of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who had settled among them, for they had defected to him from Israel in great numbers when they saw that Yahweh his God was with him.

And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and the strangers with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for they fell to him out of Israel in abundance, when they saw that the LORD his God[ was] with him.

He assembled all Judah and Benjamin, as well as the settlers from Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who had come to live with them. Many people from Israel had come there to live when they saw that the LORD his God was with him.

He gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and those who lived with them out of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon; for they came to him out of Israel in abundance when they saw that Yahweh his God was with him.

以色列各支派中，凡立定心意尋求耶和華－以色列上帝的，都隨從利未人來到耶路撒冷獻祭給耶和華－他們列祖的上帝。

那時，猶太、加利利、撒瑪利亞各處的教會都得平安，建立起來，凡事敬畏主，蒙聖靈的安慰，人數逐漸增多。

大衛從前與非利士人同去，要與掃羅爭戰，有些瑪拿西人來投奔大衛。其實他們並沒有幫助非利士人，因為非利士人的領袖商議，打發他回去，說：「恐怕大衛拿我們的首級去向他的主人掃羅投誠。」

全以色列聽見王這樣判斷，就都敬畏王，因為他們看見他心中有上帝的智慧，能夠斷案。

掃羅見耶和華與大衛同在，女兒米甲又愛大衛，

他主人見耶和華與他同在，又見耶和華使他手裏所辦的事都順利，

猶大全會眾、祭司、利未人和從以色列來的全會眾，以及那些從以色列地來的和住在猶大的寄居的人，盡都喜樂。

希西家派人去見以色列和猶大眾人，又寫信給以法蓮和瑪拿西人，要他們到耶路撒冷耶和華的殿，向耶和華－以色列的上帝守逾越節，因為王和眾領袖，以及耶路撒冷全會眾已經商議，要在二月份守逾越節。那時他們不能守，因為分別為聖的祭司不夠，百姓也還沒有聚集在耶路撒冷。這事在王與全會眾眼中都看為合宜。於是他們下令，通告全以色列，從別是巴直到但，吩咐百姓都來，在耶路撒冷向耶和華－以色列的上帝守逾越節，因為他們已經許久沒有照所寫的守這節了。信差遵着王命，拿着王和眾領袖所發的信，送達全以色列和猶大，說：「以色列人哪，當轉向耶和華－亞伯拉罕、以撒、以色列的上帝，好叫他轉向你們這些脫離亞述諸王之手的餘民。不要效法你們的祖先和你們的弟兄；他們干犯耶和華－他們列祖的上帝，以致耶和華使他們令人驚駭，正如你們所見的。現在，不要像你們祖先硬着頸項，只要歸順耶和華，進入他的聖所，就是永遠成聖的居所，又要事奉耶和華－你們的上帝，好使他的烈怒轉離你們。你們若轉向耶和華，你們的弟兄和兒女必在擄掠他們的人面前蒙憐憫，得以歸回這地，因為耶和華－你們的上帝有恩惠，有憐憫。你們若轉向他，他必不會轉臉不顧你們。」信差從這城跑到那城，傳遍了以法蓮和瑪拿西之地，直到西布倫；那裏的人卻戲笑他們，譏誚他們。然而亞設、瑪拿西、西布倫中也有人謙卑自己，來到耶路撒冷。

這城的居民必到那城，說：『我們快去懇求耶和華的恩，尋求萬軍之耶和華；我自己也要去。』必有許多民族和強盛的國家來到耶路撒冷尋求萬軍之耶和華，懇求耶和華的恩。萬軍之耶和華如此說：在那些日子，列國中說各種語言的人，必有十個人強拉住一個猶大人衣服的邊，說：『我們要與你們同去，因為我們聽見上帝與你們同在了。』」

這樣，以色列背叛大衛家，直到今日。

「先祖嫉妒約瑟，把他賣到埃及去，上帝卻與他同在，救他脫離一切苦難，又使他在埃及王法老面前蒙恩，又有智慧。法老派他作埃及國的宰相兼管法老的全家。
