When Asa heard these words and the prophecy of Azariah son of Oded the prophet, he took courage. He removed the detestable idols from the whole land of Judah and Benjamin and from the towns he had captured in the hills of Ephraim. He repaired the altar of the Lord that was in front of the portico of the Lord’s temple.

Asa heard that prophecy. He paid attention to the words of Azariah the prophet, the son of Oded. So Asa became bolder than ever. He removed the statues of gods from the whole land of Judah and Benjamin. He also removed them from the towns he had captured in the hills of Ephraim. He did it because the Lord hated those gods. Asa repaired the altar of the Lord. It was in front of the porch of the Lord’ s temple.

As soon as Asa heard these words, the prophecy of Azariah the son of Oded, he took courage and put away the detestable idols from all the land of Judah and Benjamin and from the cities that he had taken in the hill country of Ephraim, and he repaired the altar of the Lord that was in front of the vestibule of the house of the Lord.

When Asa heard this message from Azariah the prophet, he took courage and removed all the detestable idols from the land of Judah and Benjamin and in the towns he had captured in the hill country of Ephraim. And he repaired the altar of the Lord, which stood in front of the entry room of the Lord’s Temple.

He renovated the altar of the LORD that was in front of the portico of the LORD’s temple.

Now when Asa heard these words and the prophecy which Azariah the son of Oded the prophet spoke, he took courage and removed the abominable idols from all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and from the cities which he had captured in the hill country of Ephraim. He then restored the altar of the Lord which was in front of the porch of the Lord.

And when Asa heard these words and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and removed the abominable idols from all the land of Judah and Benjamin and from the cities which he had taken in the mountains of Ephraim; and he restored the altar of the Lord that was before the vestibule of the Lord.

And when Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominations out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from the hill- country of Ephraim; and he renewed the altar of Jehovah, that was before the porch of Jehovah.

He removed the detestable idols from the entire land of Judah and Benjamin and from the cities he had seized in the Ephraimite hill country. He repaired the altar of the LORD in front of the porch of the LORD’s temple.

When Asa heard these words, and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he took courage, and put away the abominations out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had taken from the hill country of Ephraim; and he renewed Yahweh’s altar that was before Yahweh’s porch.

因為你們從前隨從外邦人的心意，生活在淫蕩、情慾、醉酒、荒宴、狂飲和可憎的偶像崇拜中，時候已經夠了。

於是，他們到裏面去見希西家王，說：「我們已將耶和華的全殿和燔祭壇，以及壇的一切器皿、供餅的供桌，與供桌的一切器皿都潔淨了；

在墳墓間停留，在隱密處過夜，吃豬肉，器皿中有不潔淨之肉熬的湯；

那裏的弟兄們一聽見我們的消息，就到亞比烏市和三館來迎接我們。保羅見了他們，就感謝上帝，越發壯膽。

我要先加倍報應他們的罪孽和罪惡，因為他們以可憎之偶像的屍首使我的地玷污，使我的產業充斥可厭之物。」

他移動耶和華面前的銅壇，從殿的前面，新壇和耶和華殿的中間，搬到新壇的北邊。

「『凡製造耶和華所憎惡的偶像，無論是雕刻的，是鑄造的，就是工匠用手造的，或暗中設置的，這人必受詛咒！』眾百姓要回應說：『阿們！』

他砍伐香柏樹，又取杉樹和橡樹，在樹林中讓它茁壯；或栽種松樹，得雨水滋潤長大。

你們若對我說：我們倚靠耶和華－我們的上帝，希西家豈不是將上帝的丘壇和祭壇廢去，並且吩咐猶大和耶路撒冷的人說：你們當在耶路撒冷這壇前敬拜嗎？

那時，所羅門為摩押可憎的基抹和亞捫人可憎的摩洛，在耶路撒冷對面的山上建造丘壇。

那女人穿着紫色和朱紅色的衣服，用金子、寶石、珍珠作妝飾，手拿着金杯，杯中盛滿了可憎之物和她淫亂的污穢。在她額上寫着奧祕的名字，說：「大巴比倫，世上的淫婦和一切可憎之物的母。」

於是我進去看。看哪，四面牆上刻着各樣爬行的動物、可憎的走獸和以色列家各樣的偶像。

看哪，凡屬耶和華的事，有亞瑪利雅祭司長管理你們；凡屬王的事，有猶大家的領袖以實瑪利的兒子西巴第雅管理你們；在你們面前有利未人作官長。你們應當壯膽辦事，願耶和華與善人同在。」

從前以色列王所羅門在耶路撒冷東邊、邪僻山南邊為西頓人可憎的亞斯她錄、摩押人可憎的基抹、亞捫人可憎的米勒公所築的丘壇，王都玷污了，

你們要遵守我的吩咐，免得你們隨從那些可憎的習俗，就是在你們之前的人所做的，玷污了自己。我是耶和華－你們的上帝。」
