集猶大便雅憫眾、以及旅於其中之以法蓮人、瑪拿西人、西緬人、蓋以色列人見上帝耶和華偕亞撒、歸之者甚眾、

以色列族見上帝耶和華眷祐亞撒、以法蓮、馬拿西、西面三族之賓旅、多歸焉。亞撒召之、亦召猶大便雅憫族眾、於十五年三月、俱至耶路撒冷。

招聚猶大便雅憫人眾、及旅其中之以法蓮人、瑪拿西人、西緬人、蓋歸降亞撒之以色列人甚眾、因見主其天主祐之、

Then he assembled all Judah and Benjamin and the people from Ephraim, Manasseh and Simeon who had settled among them, for large numbers had come over to him from Israel when they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

Then Asa gathered together all the people of Judah and Benjamin. He also gathered together the people from Ephraim, Manasseh and Simeon who were living among them. Large numbers of people had come over to him from Israel. They came because they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and those from Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who were residing with them, for great numbers had deserted to him from Israel when they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

Then Asa called together all the people of Judah and Benjamin, along with the people of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who had settled among them. For many from Israel had moved to Judah during Asa’s reign when they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

Then he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, as well as those from the tribes of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who were residing among them, for they had defected to him from Israel in great numbers when they saw that the LORD his God was with him.

And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and those from Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who resided with them, for many defected to him from Israel when they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

Then he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and those who dwelt with them from Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon, for they came over to him in great numbers from Israel when they saw that the Lord his God was with him.

And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and them that sojourned with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for they fell to him out of Israel in abundance, when they saw that Jehovah his God was with him.

Then he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, as well as those from the tribes of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who had settled among them, for they had defected to him from Israel in great numbers when they saw that Yahweh his God was with him.

And he gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and the strangers with them out of Ephraim and Manasseh, and out of Simeon: for they fell to him out of Israel in abundance, when they saw that the LORD his God[ was] with him.

He assembled all Judah and Benjamin, as well as the settlers from Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who had come to live with them. Many people from Israel had come there to live when they saw that the LORD his God was with him.

He gathered all Judah and Benjamin, and those who lived with them out of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon; for they came to him out of Israel in abundance when they saw that Yahweh his God was with him.

以色列眾支派中所有定意尋求耶和華以色列的神的，都隨著利未人來到耶路撒冷，向耶和華他們列祖的神獻祭。

那時猶太、加利利、撒瑪利亞各處的教會，都得到平安，被建立起來，存著敬畏主的心過生活，並且因著聖靈的激勵，人數增多起來。

大衛從前與非利士人一起，要去攻擊掃羅的時候，有些瑪拿西支派的人投奔大衛；但他們沒有幫助非利士人，因為非利士人的領袖商議後把他遣回，說：“恐怕大衛帶著我們的首級歸向他的主人掃羅。”

以色列眾人聽見王判斷的這案件，就都敬畏他，因為看見他心裡有神的智慧，能夠判案。

掃羅看見耶和華與大衛同在，又知道自己的女兒米甲也愛大衛，

他的主人見耶和華與他同在，又見耶和華使他手裡所作的盡都順利，

猶大的全體會眾、祭司和利未人、從以色列來的全體會眾，以及在以色列地寄居的人和在猶大寄居的人，都非常歡樂。

希西家派人走遍以色列和猶大，又寫信給以法蓮人和瑪拿西人，叫他們到耶路撒冷耶和華的殿來，守逾越節記念耶和華以色列的神。因為王和眾領袖，以及耶路撒冷的全體會眾曾經商議，要在二月守逾越節。（但他們不能如期守逾越節，因為自潔的祭司不夠，人民也沒有齊集在耶路撒冷。）王和全體會眾都認為這計劃很好，於是下了命令，通告全以色列，從別是巴直到但，叫人民來耶路撒冷守逾越節記念耶和華以色列的神，因為照著所記的定例舉行這節的人不多。信差就帶著王和眾領袖發出的書信，走遍全以色列和猶大，照著王的吩咐，宣告說：“以色列人哪，你們應當轉向耶和華，亞伯拉罕、以撒和以色列的神，使他也轉向你們這些在亞述王手中逃脫的餘民。你們不要像你們的列祖和你們的親族，他們得罪了耶和華他們列祖的神，以致耶和華使他們成為令人驚駭的對象，就像你們自己所見的。現在你們不可頑固，像你們的列祖那樣；要順服耶和華，進入他永遠分別為聖的聖所，事奉耶和華你們的神，使他的烈怒轉離你們。如果你們是歸向耶和華，你們的親族和兒女就必在俘擄他們的人面前蒙憐憫，可以返回這地；因為耶和華你們的神是有恩惠有憐憫；如果你們歸向他，他必不轉臉不顧你們。”信差從這城到那城，走遍了以法蓮和瑪拿西各地，直到西布倫；那裡的人卻戲弄他們，譏笑他們。可是在亞設、瑪拿西和西布倫中，也有人願意謙卑，來到耶路撒冷。

一城的居民到另一城去，對他們說：我們快去懇求耶和華施恩，求告萬軍之耶和華；我自己也去。必有很多的民族和強大的國家前來，在耶路撒冷求告萬軍之耶和華，懇求他施恩。’“萬軍之耶和華這樣說：‘在那些日子，必有十個說不同方言，來自列國的人，緊抓住一個猶大人的衣襟，說：讓我們與你們同去吧，因為我們聽見神與你們同在。’”

這樣，以色列人背叛了大衛家，直到今日。

“祖先妒忌約瑟，把他賣到埃及去，然而神與他同在，救他脫離一切苦難，使他在埃及王法老面前，有智慧、得恩寵。法老立他為首相，管理埃及和法老的全家。
