All Judah rejoiced about the oath because they had sworn it wholeheartedly. They sought God eagerly, and he was found by them. So the Lord gave them rest on every side.

All the people of Judah were happy about the promise they had made. They turned to God with all their heart. When they did, they found him. So the Lord gave them peace and rest on every side.

我们所夸的是：我们在世为人，特别是跟你们的关系，是凭着上帝所赐的坦率和真诚，不是靠人的聪明，而是靠上帝的恩惠；这是我们的良心可以作证的。

希西家和众百姓都因上帝为百姓所预备的而喜乐，因为这事办得很迅速。

耶何耶大与众百姓，又与王立约，要作耶和华的子民。于是众百姓到巴力庙去，拆毁了庙，打碎祭坛和偶像，又在坛前把巴力的祭司玛坦杀了。耶何耶大派官员在利未家的祭司手下看守耶和华的殿，他们是大卫所分派的，在耶和华殿中照摩西律法上所写，献燔祭给耶和华，又按大卫所定的，欢乐歌唱。耶何耶大又设立守卫把守耶和华殿的各门，无论因何事而不洁净的人，都不准进去。他又率领百夫长和贵族，与民间的官长，以及国中的众百姓，请王从耶和华的殿下来，由上门正中进入王宫，使王坐在国度的王位上。国中的众百姓都欢乐，合城也都平静。他们已将亚她利雅用刀杀了。

我不在隐密黑暗之地说话，也没有对雅各的后裔说，‘你们寻求我是徒然的’，我—耶和华所讲的是公义，所说的是正直。”

我处在两难之间：我情愿离世与基督同在，因为这是好得无比的；

他安静，谁能定罪呢？他转脸，谁能见他呢？无论一国或一人都是如此。

你和利未人，以及在你中间寄居的，要因耶和华—你上帝所赐你和你家的一切福分欢乐。

耶和华啊，我们在你行审判的路上等候你，我们心里所渴慕的，就是你的名和你的称号。

现在我心中有意与耶和华—以色列的上帝立约，好使他的烈怒转离我们。

耶和华使以色列人从四围所有的仇敌中得享安宁，已经有很多日子了。约书亚年纪老迈，

他们被破坏殆尽，这国攻击那国，这城攻击那城，因为上帝用各样灾难扰乱他们。

他出来迎接亚撒，对他说：“亚撒，犹大和便雅悯众人哪，要听我说：你们若顺从耶和华，耶和华必与你们同在；你们若寻求他，就必寻见；你们若离弃他，他必离弃你们。

尼希米省长、以斯拉祭司文士，和教导百姓的利未人对众百姓说：“今日是耶和华—你们上帝的圣日，不要悲哀，也不要哭泣。”这是因为众百姓听见律法书上的话都哭了。

她的道是安乐，她的路全是平安。

义人哪，你们应当靠耶和华欢喜快乐，心里正直的人哪，你们都当欢呼。

你公义的典章，我曾起誓遵守，我必按着誓言而行。

我以你的法度为永远的产业，因这是我心中所喜爱的。
