All Judah rejoiced about the oath because they had sworn it wholeheartedly. They sought God eagerly, and he was found by them. So the Lord gave them rest on every side.

All the people of Judah were happy about the promise they had made. They turned to God with all their heart. When they did, they found him. So the Lord gave them peace and rest on every side.

我們所誇的是自己的良心，見證我們憑着神的聖潔和誠實；在世為人不靠人的聰明，乃靠神的恩惠，向你們更是這樣。

這事辦的甚速，希西家和眾民都喜樂，是因神為眾民所預備的。

耶何耶大與眾民和王立約，都要作耶和華的民。於是眾民都到巴力廟，拆毀了廟，打碎壇和像，又在壇前將巴力的祭司瑪坦殺了。耶何耶大派官看守耶和華的殿，是在祭司利未人手下。這祭司利未人是大衛分派在耶和華殿中、照摩西律法上所寫的，給耶和華獻燔祭，又按大衛所定的例，歡樂歌唱；且設立守門的把守耶和華殿的各門，無論為何事，不潔淨的人都不准進去。又率領百夫長和貴冑，與民間的官長，並國中的眾民，請王從耶和華殿下來，由上門進入王宮，立王坐在國位上。國民都歡樂，合城都安靜。眾人已將亞她利雅用刀殺了。

我沒有在隱密黑暗之地說話；我沒有對雅各的後裔說：你們尋求我是徒然的。我－耶和華所講的是公義，所說的是正直。

我正在兩難之間，情願離世與基督同在，因為這是好得無比的。

他使人安靜，誰能擾亂呢？他掩面，誰能見他呢？無論待一國或一人都是如此－

你和利未人，並在你們中間寄居的，要因耶和華－你神所賜你和你家的一切福分歡樂。

耶和華啊，我們在你行審判的路上等候你；我們心裏所羨慕的是你的名，就是你那可記念的名。

現在我心中有意與耶和華－以色列的神立約，好使他的烈怒轉離我們。

耶和華使以色列人安靜，不與四圍的一切仇敵爭戰，已經多日。約書亞年紀老邁，

這國攻擊那國，這城攻擊那城，互相破壞，因為神用各樣災難擾亂他們。

他出來迎接亞撒，對他說：「亞撒和猶大、便雅憫眾人哪，要聽我說：你們若順從耶和華，耶和華必與你們同在；你們若尋求他，就必尋見；你們若離棄他，他必離棄你們。

省長尼希米和作祭司的文士以斯拉，並教訓百姓的利未人，對眾民說：「今日是耶和華－你們神的聖日，不要悲哀哭泣。」這是因為眾民聽見律法書上的話都哭了；

她的道是安樂；她的路全是平安。

你們義人應當靠耶和華歡喜快樂；你們心裏正直的人都當歡呼。

你公義的典章，我曾起誓遵守，我必按誓而行。

我以你的法度為永遠的產業，因這是我心中所喜愛的。
